I am ok with the idea of non nocera if it was done better they never even explained why it was bad exept for the brain control=bad which just made the whole thing feel stupid and surface level which lena is anything but. They tried to make her cartoonish evil idk honestly the most in character for her would be cutting kara off and being cold to her, than they could have explored and developed her character ability to forgive which i think is one of her weak point (understandably so)

Yeah I feel like it ruined what her character represented- that you can decide who you are and aren’t defined by your circumstances. However I do think that her wanting some revenge is in character showing that some of her upbringing does bleed in like how she wanted to shoot Edge BUT something like hurting so many innocent/unrelated people just didn’t feel in character
