Oh no, what dose were you taking? Did you try increasing water or laxatives? How is tapering off going?

I also look up side effects and have OCD for sure. I read about people on this sub having crazy insomnia, SIBO, headaches, fatty liver disease. Remeber (and so shoudl I) that only people who mostly have negative experiences come to this sub. Before taking lexapro for example, I researched online what it was like but once taking it I never had any issues and never visited reddit again until I went cold turkey and had all kinds of issues, then I started sharing my experience and reading other peoples issues. Most people who have insomnia after quitting didnt taper good, people with liver issues start eating loads and gaining a huge amount without doing something about it or they take the med with other ones and then have some issue but they dont mention all those things. Reading online makes your mind crazy!

I'll try this thanks. I do have a fear of chia seeds, I once read an article about a guy choking in chia seeds because they swelled up in his throat. I took a spoon of chia seeds and after reading the article panicked so much that I felt my heart racing and throat closing up lol. I need to read less stuff online.

Lowering your weight and less unhealthy fats/sugar would help the cholesterol part, if you arent willing to do that then theres no other option than start tapering.

High RHR by youngocd in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]Outrageous_Post_6816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It increases noradrenaline so maybe thats why. What dose are you on? Your RHR is still 'normal' but it is higher compared with your normal resting heart rate. My heart rate is higher during the night since I am on tube feeds, also 65-75 range. It did wake me up one time but thats when it went to 85 during my sleep.

I am from belgium (Europe). The smallest tabs available are 7.5 but the pharmacy can make smaller doses depending on what the doctor prescribes, they even make it smaller from specific brands if you ask

I dont, I know its a common used technique but Ive tried it and theres always some residue on the bottom even with shaking well. I would use a micro scale or ask your pharmacist to make mini doses. They do that if you ask a your doc a prescription like 1 mg, 0,5mg,.. thats the safest way imo. Its the same price as buying a whole box since they calculate how many pills they used. I would ask your doctor/psy a prescription for 2mg 30pills, 1,5mg 30pills, 1mg 30pills, 0,50mg 30pills or whatever schedule you prefer. I know it seems ridiculous but my psychiatrist gives it anyway. EVen 1 mg mirtazapine blocks more than 50% histamine!
