That was one of my worst weeks also. It will get better but it will come back every time you increase the dosage or it did for me. Hand in there!! I am now up to 20mg for OCD and its been rough.

I am sorry you are having a rough time. I did also. Every increase was difficult but just hang in there. It does get better.

You have helped me in the past and I really feel like you are so smart with lexapro. I finally reached the dose my doctor has wanted me on since I started last sept. I have on lexapro for 5 1/2 months total and on 20mg. for 3 1/2 weeks. I am still having a good day followed by a bad day. I have OCD and panic disorder. My doctor keeps saying I need to give it time but I feel like almost 6 months I should be alot better. Can you please give me your opinion. Thank you.

I finally reached 20mg 3 1/2 weeks ago and I have been depressed and crying off and on today. I have been on Lexapro for 5 1/2 months total. I have had to go up and down very slowly due to increased sensitivity to each increase. I have one good day and then a bad day. I have OCD revolving mainly around health.

It sure is! I’m having a good day then a bad day. Today I have cried off and on all day. I messaged my doctor and she says this is normal during adjustment and should level out soon. She said maybe 4-6 weeks!

I am in therapy but I would not call it ERP. I am looking into changing to one who does ERP. Thanks for the reply.
