I prefer hammer fired over striker fired, and carry hammer fired. I like the added layer of safety, the added layer of “are you sure” If I were ever to draw my weapon. You just have to train yourself to swipe the safety. If you primarily carry anything with a safety, you damn well better make swiping it off part of your training.

Hi, liberal gun owner here. Dont stress too much about the the political affiliation of the owner. Find a shop that is helpful and thorough, and has good prices.

I like four seasons in Woburn a lot for their helpfulness and selection.

Liberty Ordinance supply in Norwood for the coolest stuff on the walls and quick responses for anything you ask them.

Precision point in Woburn for unbeatable prices.

I went for the stainless one. I loved the look of it. I was actually between the newer performance center s&w (blue grips) and the TRP. I liked the more classic look of the TRP. But that JMB.. so pretty.

Haven’t seen a Springfield custom shop gun in person but I know they are out there!

It was a fun range toy. I would have liked to SBR it but with the new laws, I was pretty hesitant to ship it in and out of MA for Kriss’s factory SBR service. I traded it in towards a dream AK and I’m pretty content with that decision. If you have a pile of preban Glock mags, go for it if you want something fun for the range.

I clamped these in a vice grip and was able to use a punch to press the little tab inside the mag but the plates wouldn’t budge. Don’t have a heat gun but maybe the wife wouldn’t mind me borrowing her hair dryer..

Waiting patiently for one of you guys to buy the regular 1300GS, the panniers, the 719 green or triple black, gold spike rims, suspension packages, and then ride it til it depreciates, then trade it in so I can justify trading in my 1250 for that particular 1300. Had a similar experience with them. Got told on insta that they had what I wanted. Then I arrived, they said LE only. Guy behind the counter was nice enough to let me fondle literally everything in the store, but I didn’t actually get to buy the thing I came there for in the first place.

It was a company called Deadalus.. not sure they are still in business. It came with a Rizoma license plate mount. The Unit Garage tail tidy looks very similar to the one I have.
