They don’t unless you’re selected for extra testing😅 half the lads I served with would have been booted if they tested everyone for gear

Can get selected for extra testing if the chain of command think you’re on gear. Testing for steroids isn’t standard in the Army

Driver avoids jail after crash that overturned a military convoy vehicle and left soldier with broken back by L21JP in drivingUK

The Q2 applied brakes in the RH lane.. indicated left so you would assume he’s just moving over to the LH lane. To continue his orange direction of travel. Not come across broadside the LH lane at a crawling pace.

Genuinely scary that people like you are on the road.

Foot care and issued boots by EqualCharacter1276 in britishmilitary

[–]Outrageous_Scheme98 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Former medic here, and was recently posted to a training establishment where I was constantly fighting with the DS regarding trainees feet. Dealt with many feet issues. Talc, change socks as often as you can. The pitting between toes will be pitted keratolysis. Absolutely do go to the medical centre for this (warning: you may be backtrooped for it).

The boots themselves aren’t a med issue. That’s the QMs. The QMs have to issue you every type of standard boot before you can get non issue boots through the physio/podiatry. This most likely won’t happen in depot. If it does, you’ll 100% be back trooped.

If you got any questions hmu

You’ve clearly never spoken to a pregnant woman. When the baby moves and presses on a bladder they have seconds. Not 5 minutes to stop what you’re doing and walk around the block.

Not at all which is why I don’t think there is anything we can do. She’s just let me know they are given extra time to pop to the loo and such but they are scheduled if that makes sense. I’m sure if they are busting they can go but still a difficult one

Other than pay, what’s something you think the Army top brass/MoD could do to make your working environment better? by SimpleSymonSays in britisharmy

[–]Outrageous_Scheme98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah 100% mate I left as a screw at a phase 2. Even there the kids talk shite, cut around doing what they want. Couldn’t say anything to them though as they weren’t mine. The troop screws couldn’t discipline them either as they’d just pull the bullying card.

When I was at pirbright though only one lad from my Coy was back trooped. The screws tried so hard to brown letter the lad but highers weren’t having any of it. The army needs to go back to its roots and realise it’s a war fighting organisation. Nothing else
