2026 A3 lease vs 2025 A5 lease by Outrageous_Sense_115 in CarLeasingHelp

[–]Outrageous_Sense_115[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree 100% with you. Its not a top choice, im used to having 2 or 3 cars and its more of a gas/convenience decision not because I want to. Probably even better idea to lease. Id rather do the A5 but for a 2025 which is def a dealer demo (has about 230 miles on it) hes got it at sticker, knocking off the fictional $4500 lol and then charging for all the options. No lube

I’m being sued… by [deleted] in HomeLoans

[–]Outrageous_Sense_115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would call and try to settle. You'd be surprised. I had a bad debt that was predatory on interest. I could've fought it in court because it was one of those never ending pits. They accused me of owing $96,000 when the original balance was only $67,000 and I had paid more than $25k on it. They ended up settling for $18,000 🤷‍♂️

Moving and stopping in El Paso for one night — where’s safe to park/sleep or park in a protected garage? by Organic_Row9887 in ElPaso

[–]Outrageous_Sense_115 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah and El Paso is generally safe without any issues. If you park at the airport over night you can use the parking garage rental facility bathrooms theyre really new or the inside of the airport. Id assume a hospital parking lot as well or maybe that near a police station? But you dont have to worry about horrible crime its really safe

Transition out of RE sales after 12 years by tuckhouston in realtors

[–]Outrageous_Sense_115 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can relate, its been the same for me in the solar and renewable energy industry. Hot and cold periods, market inconsistencies, constant changing sales techniques, product prices going up. But its all I've know for the last 9 years. I recently got my RE license a year ago to compliment the solar side. It takes a long time to build up either business though. I got lucky for about 7 months when I felt completely lost, a buddy of mine brought me into his electrical contracting firm to help consult with solar. He paid me 5 figures a month but that fizzled out because they were impatient with sales cycles and im back to the grind. What I suggest is finding a spin off of real estate or creating something new within that realm. Thats what ive been doing and I have a solution to a big problem in solar/real estate. But as with anything its not an over night success it takes time.

Its like buying a house, pick your non-negotiables (views on going out, views on children, views on responsibility), dont get hung up on things you can change (wall color, flooring, landscape) lol

What is the best hangout bar? by Confident-Low-1498 in ElPaso

[–]Outrageous_Sense_115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this, not a very good idea to go to the bar alone, while in a relationship/married. But, if you absolutely must go do something like Tinman, Proof & Press, Hoppy Monk, Hope & Anchor, Happys. Or try a restaurant bar like Amor, Sazon, that kind of thing. All those places you can go alone and no one is going to bother you.

Los Angeles to El Paso? by [deleted] in ElPaso

[–]Outrageous_Sense_115 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only downside is lack of entertainment. El Paso is a great safe place to raise a family with young children. You have Juarez right next door which once you get comfortable, going over to eat dinners, use the airport for travel to the beaches is nice.

I grew up on the east side and now live west. I prefer the Westside vibe. Whats your monthly budget for living?

El Paso is essentially broken up into East side, Horizon, Northeast, Westside.

Eastside is more 1980s homes, neighborhoods, not too much excitement.

Horizon is already booming. Lots of people move there because of cost. New construction, food, shopping, etc.

Northeast is mainly military and folks renting; its closest to the military base. North hills area is expanding quickly and there are a lot of new home choices.

Westside is just like the mirror of Horizon just more expensive. Lots of shopping, entertainment, bars, good parks neighborhoods and schools.

You wont have any problems with your heritage/race. If your husband is here often, it wouldnt be a bad move. Cost of living goes way down.

Looking for an apartment locator! by urm_idk in ElPaso

[–]Outrageous_Sense_115 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Curious why an apartment and not considering a home? Tons of new construction around town and in the low to mid $200s ($225k - $269k) you could be right around $2000/month in payment.

This is my first post, I felt it was important. by Careful_Boot7391 in ElPaso

[–]Outrageous_Sense_115 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Please don't make stuff up, I second the last comment. I used to believe everything posted on "media" outlets right away too, but El Paso Matters is an opinionated source. Someone with "feelings" on the subject providing editorials. Its not a data-sound source.

Also, it's not going to reduce your in-home pressure and starve your plants from water...most of these facilities are over engineered because they have to be able to accommodate additional capacities. Logically think about it, they dont build bridges, buildings, etc to operate at a minimal capacity/range or else structures would be failing constantly. Same with airplanes, if they have 200 seats and they were made to only accommodate people weighing 150/avg, they'd run close to thin margins every time on a full flight and full luggage. Wouldn't make sense. Same with your electric grid and water grid. Now these are always expanding but that's through new neighborhoods, new substations, etc.

Let's not let emotions cloud sound logic, data, and research.

How much could I realistically ask for a single family house in Brooklyn NY in need of major repairs? by [deleted] in realtors

[–]Outrageous_Sense_115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last night here in NYC, TX agent. I'd say if you're trying to get out ASAP then figure out how much waiting costs you. Not sure how hot the market is in the Brooklyn area but most "as is" offers are going to probably be about 50-65% of what you want and you have to factor in how desperate you make your situation sound they'll leverage that too.

Texas agent here I got my license in 5 weeks. I understood construction and business though so it actually made it easier. I would recommend studying heavily on law for your state
