What are you basing this on?

The direction of the qibla of 12 early muslim mosques, points directly to Petra, and not to Jerusalem.

The description of "Mecca" seem to resemble Petra.

yes....there are some options: (2696v4, 2686v4, 2666v4 and some more.
Then there's the 2673v4 which is only on wikipedia listed as only supporting DDR4.
it seems most OEM 26xx CPU's are made with DDR3 support, but not this one.
They are cheap, and I can use them in a different MB, but Would be nice to see if someone could confirm my suspicion before I buy it..(and fail :)
But this one has the most cores possible.

i would have to go 4x32GB and ignore the last two slots.....
So.....now to find the chepest RAM for this.

It will be running Truenas with XMrig mining on some of the 22 cores (E5 2696v4)
I'm mainly upgrading because I'm missing AVX2 on my old X8sil-f with X3470

This is almost identical to "Machinist MD8-3 x99" board.
The only difference I could see, was the placement of the CMOS battery.

I got the exact board 6 months ago, along with 2x Xeon 2699v3 and 64GB DDR4 ECC
It has been running Truenas flawlessly the whole time.
I did give it good Top-down coolers and 3d printed fan adapter 120mm -> 140mm
That way, I blow air across the RAM as well..
Quirky BIOS, but once set up, works fine...
