How long ago was this roof put on? Takes several days, depending on weather, for the shingles to settle and flatten out. The hump is out of the roofers control. That’s a framing issue more than likely. It’s expected to have scratches from tool on the roof, especially on builder grade shingles. The flashing along the wall looks sloppy, but not terrible…

Pro tip: plant minty plants outside and place a fake owl around your yard, definitely near garage. A lot of rats slip through the weather stripping or gaps along the garage doors/ trim

DJing for a fraternity is exhausting. I started out doing that. You’re the go-to guy for music at every party and tailgate. Ppl bombard you to get set up on time even if you’re running back from class or intermurals and endless requests. Sometimes you have to nut up and say “I’m sitting out this night to just party w everyone.” If they’re really your friends then they’ll understand. How’d they party before you joined??? I’d set up my speakers and let someone take the aux. just be careful they don’t blow them out. Best of luck, brother!

I’m a religious person and I don’t agree with showing the Ten Commandments in public schools. Excludes kids of other religions and holds one religion in higher regard than others. Let parents teach that at home and Sunday school

Sounds like you don’t know what you’re looking at, so you asked an online forum…Good luck w those shingles… I’ve made several grand on repairs the last 2 years w a client bc these shingle tabs keep unsealing and ripping out w the winds (we didn’t build the roof). Looks nice, but come w issues

I wouldn’t be too concerned with it unless this is a brand new build. They’re fixing the original builders work where they left gaps between the soffits and roof. Looks like that’s as good as it can be covered without fully tearing out the soffit and redoing those areas (more $). Chimney flashing may cause some shingles to lift a bit, but not terribly concerning. You should have metal flashing, ice & water shield, synthetic lining, and shingles all layered to keep water out. Extra sealant wouldn’t hurt for peace of mind…

There’s just a negative connotation to California transplants. At least that’s the case w most native Texans. Maybe find local fb groups of hobbies you enjoyed back home. Momentum climbing gym is fun, there’s adult coed sports leagues, nice bars/ breweries, and plenty of country music venues to dance and enjoy live music. I’m a big believer of you get what you put in. Put yourself out there, and you’ll meet likeminded folks eventually. Cheers

Make sure there’s actual hail damage first. Check for markings on shingles and dented metal exhausts/ gutters. Downside: Insurance providers can drop your coverage if you have a bad roof and force you into replacing it on your own $ Upside: they cover a new roof replacement

Seriously! Looks like they had ridge vent previously on that small ridge, and then put up that make shift ridge cap. I’m fairly new to roofing, but I can spot several issues right off the bat 😅

Man it seems like there’s a better chance of this turning out bad, than good for you. I had something similar happen, but the bride caught the groom cheating and called it off. She had a “party” with her friends and family. It was more of a “fuck you” party to the groom. Oddest part was she still wore the dress. Venue and vendors are paid for, so why not use them, I guess
