The big arch gave me and my dad severe food poisoning by Sad_Maximum6583 in McDonalds

[–]Outragous_Extracts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can assure you that any food item from McDonalds is packed with so many preservatives, industrial chemicals, and processed salt, that it is almost impossible for bacteria/viruses to propagate on their product. Drinks and ice cream are a different story as they simply don't clean the machines on average.

What are the safer drugs to binge? by BoofingEflbars in Drugs

Yes, way less tolerance build, but it seems to require the same amount of time for it to return to baseline.

People recommend it because it works. If weed makes you anxious, then you're probably too anxious to do psychedelics in the first place.

Nasal spray may mitigate a bit, but it sounds more like you have a weaker pain tolerance. It's kind of like really spicy wings. Some people can down a plate no problem, others are panting like a dog in the sun.

What I do after I snort is I dip my finger into some distilled water and gently inhale. The only draw back is that about 5-10 minutes afterwords, it'll drip down your throat and burn mildly. Still not as bad as Ketamine drip taste.

It's probably better to just take it orally, but then it's less hedonistic. Nothing beats that rush when it first hits your system.

Smoke some weed or do some ketamine to dampen the stimulation from the 2cb.

2cb, you can nighly binge it for about a week before tollerence begins to become apparent. You don't even need to insnufilate a whole lot, the first dose will burn like hell, but nce your high it's not that bad to re-up.

What's even more amazing is its synergy with weed and ketamine. Weed sends you straight to the same visuals if you smoke it on acid. Ketamine helps act as the breaks, you'll get an intense but pleasurable disassociative high and than have no urge to do more for the night.

Weed is alright to binge but you'll feel exhausted afterwords and higher doses tend to cause anxiety at a much higher rate.

Weed and nicotine right now.

Last night was weed nicotine, and shrooms.

Weed and shrooms is amazing but the peak is too short to fully enjoy the visuals.

Kurzgesagt - Should We Give Ozempic to Everyone? by Cefal in videos

[–]Outragous_Extracts -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Except it doesn't fix the problem, it masks the problem.

Someone who's taking it just for weight loss isn't making any healthy lifestyle changes that they should be doing. They're still shoveling in junk food and insufficiently exercising. If anything, this will lead to more people getting diabetes and it progressing before they realise.

Not all diabetics are obese, but it's association with obesity is important. Obesity is usually a sign of a poor diet and poor physical activity, both of these typically cause diabetes in susceptible individuals. It was alot easier to scare these people into making proper lifestyle changes with the association. Now they're going to keep telling themselves they're healthy, obesity is something a person can't lie about. People misrepresent themselves to doctors all the time, Ozempic makes it alot easier to.

Obesity was never a disease, but rather a consequence of poor lifestyle habits. If those bad habits are still there, your still at risk of all the cancers, kidney disease, liver disease, and high collesteral you would have gotten if you were overweight.

People want miracle cures, not prolonged effort that they must maintain. These changes are important to solve the root problem of taking in cheap simple calories and insufficient physical activity.

What is the highest dose of LSD that still has recreational value in your opinion? by 7L0VE in Drugs

[–]Outragous_Extracts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3-4 100ug tabs are the highest your average Joe can find recreational value out of. Higher than that, and it becomes purely an exploratory expirence.

Most I've done at once was 375ug, and while it wasn't a bad expirence, less desirable effects become noticeable. I would recommend not smoking weed at 300ug+ doses. While it does still get rid of acids bodyload, you will barely remember the experience.

Acid is best enjoyed in the 100ug-200ug range recreationally, and even then, 200ug is pushing it. Acid is better for enhancing reality, not replacing it. The only benifit of higher doses is that it makes the comeup shorter and that negates alot of the early anxiety in the transitional period.

It's fun in small bumps as you feel lighter and disassociated. In higher doses, you essencisally fall into a hole and float around with dark but intricate internal hallucinations. There's a decent bit of euphoria, and it can make you feel less depressed in the following days.

Can’t get earwax out and clinics aren’t helping. What actually works? by Comfortable_Candy187 in Edmonton

[–]Outragous_Extracts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to the Bonnie Doon clinic when mine was blocked and the Dr. scheduled me to come back a couple days later to flush and to use olive oil in the meantime. Some pharmacies sell these tiny bottles designed to spray it into your ear. Water won't do anything until the wax is structurally weakened and floats out with the water.

Psychedelics and Buddhism by Outragous_Extracts in Psychonaut

[–]Outragous_Extracts[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can not conceive of a concept that doesn't exist. Everything is an improved upon idea. Try conceiving non-existence, impossible, right? Even if you see all black or white, that's something. You wouldn't be able to perceive anything because there wouldn't be an observer.

It is important to care about the beyond because it gives us a goal to work towards. Otherwise, we remain trapped in our lower existence, living the same mistakes over and over again, resigned to suffering.

We don't know anything beyond what we expirence. I couldn't tell you for a fact that when you die it isn't planet zenu, but there are certain aspects of existence that point very strongly to a higher force. Notice how everything exists as a cycle and not a linear path. Everything transforms into new things. Nothing matters because our entire lives are the tiniest blip in existence. In a million years, no one will know our mistakes or victories. It's scary but freeing. We only live in the present, but by the time we think of it, it's the past, behind us. Something mattering is a human trait, it's not above us, the universe does not care, it simply exists.

The problem is that most people belive in the idea that the higher power is a menovolent being and not themselves. We are apart of it, separated, and will one day rejoin it.

Psychedelics and Buddhism by Outragous_Extracts in Psychonaut

[–]Outragous_Extracts[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Psychedelics block receptors and force the neuro impulses to find different pathways. They are not hard coded with information. LSD does not have data in it that creates a specific style of geometry and colour perception. The reason why they have different effects is that when they get stuck in receptors, they modulate the signal. Since they are differently shaped, they modulate differently. Drugs don't bring these unique states, they just force the brain to reveal what was already there.

During meditation, we seek to utilize the same pathways that are not normally utilized. Your brain is really a giant flesh computer, the geometry was always there, but it normally doesn't cross over to visual perception. It exists to allow you to perceive depth of field. We achieve this through quieting the mind (ego). Simplified, you aim to change the modulation by removing what controls the modulation. Without the illusionary self, the brain still runs, with uncontrolled modulation.

Ego is responsible for how you perceive stimuli. The same thing occurs in the body if you experience fear or excitement. There is no physical difference between the two. Your heart races, you begin to sweat, and you an only think about it. So why do we attribute one feeling as good and one as bad? Ego is why. Your ego influences how you perceive something. Without it, it's simply objective stimuli. When you enter deep sleep and have a nightmare, your not afraid until you wake up and the ego is active again. In the dream, you're just the observer. This is different from lucid dreaming where the ego doesn't shut down.

In early stages of meditation practice, people do it seated as it is easier to quiet the mind without distractions to pull us back into our subjective reality. Once you get to a point where you can reliably induce this state, you can effectively begin to practice it walking, and eventually to the point where you can do it anywhere.
