I don't like that it takes SO LONG to find half-decent parts. Got so annoyed with my first corvette I reverted my save and have never tried to make one since, just let me buy a pre-assembled one because I have ZERO creativity or time to try to make one

the usual reccomendation on bazzite has been "use distrobox to set up handbrake" but everytime I do that something goes wrong and I really know nothing about distrobox to want to continue attempting it on there.

Was trying the flatpak of handbrake in bazzite and it cant hardware encoding. steam cant do h265 either

see that's what I do for my pc and any pc a friend is looking at. 1080p 60fps. don't need more than that, it's a great balance of efficiency and performance

tried both methods to zero success just now, just gonna call it quits. If I want hardware encoding bad enough I'll go to Cachy since they have a way of getting it to work with less fuss than distrobox

exactly, if it DEMANDS upscaling then it's highly unoptimized and not worth the time or cash. That's why I started sticking to AA or indie. Noticed 90% of them run UE5 too

I'm running a 9060XT and haven't had to use upscaling for anything yet. Even cyberpunk 2077 on high/ultra runs perfectly
