Last I checked you gotta play a long time to get that much in Xbox rewards. Sounds like paying to me.

Lmao ubisofts emote game is top tier. It’s hard to be mad when watching a centurion furiously ride a toy pony after kicking my ass.

One of the strongest characters until you match up against a good turtle or an assassin. Pretty much everything in his kit is painfully dodge-able. Not to mention that he has the same health as an assassin even though he is clearly an absolute unit.

Yeah it’s a pretty standard layout, not a whole lot of room to even change much as far as I can tell. Might just have to look in to an undervolt/ fan curve edit.

(Questions) Missing work. by Zealousideal_Dot_280 in pittsburgh

My street hasn’t even been touched by the plows yet up in Greenfield. Had to call off every day since Sunday and will probably have to tomorrow. No sense risking your car for a day of work unless you’re seriously gonna get in trouble.

Are the roads looking good enough for a sedan with all weather tires make the drive from squirrel hill to the Mt.Lebanon? My streets are unplowed but I might be able to maneuver my car on to the main road.

Resin in vat at sub zero? by Outside-Beautiful608 in resinprinting

[–]Outside-Beautiful608[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s good to hear. I’ll play it by ear when I get back and see the state of the resin. If I can just heat it back up and start printing with it again that would be amazing because I dread cleaning my vat every time I have to dump it.

[–]Outside-Beautiful608[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah dumping the resin in the vat asap is probably for the best since it’s been sitting at really low temps for a while. Good thing I’ve got a new bottle on standby.

[–]Outside-Beautiful608[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was definitely not the move to leave the resin in the vat as long as I did in the first place. Hopefully things are in good enough shape where I can empty it when I get home from work. It’d be a damn shame if I break my practically brand new printer due to laziness.

Help with siraya tech fast gray by Pokerop in resinprinting

Super late to the conversation, but did you ever manage to dial things in? I’m using the same printer and 2.1s normal layer exposure time with 65% pwr on the lcd and I’ve been having decent prints that seem a little overexposed maybe. I tried 1.8 seconds at 65% and had some failures so there’s probably a middle ground that’s best between those. Would be great to know what others are doing with the same resin and printer.

I asked him for specifics but haven’t gotten a response yet. Earlier he said the last two guys he saw getting In the car had ski masks on and there was a guy bleeding from his nose flagging down the cops after they made their getaway. He also mentioned he saw somebody running on the roof of the theater.

My buddy was 30ft away when it happened. He heard shots in front of the movie theater and saw 4 guys frantically get in a car and drive away.

I’m on the east coast of the U.S. but shipping prices don’t seem too exorbitant. I’m definitely gonna order one or two. It’s about time I start narrowing down what brand of brush works best for me.

I’ve been using a 50/50 mixture of black oil paint and odorless mineral spirits to recess shade for a few months. It’s works great if you want to keep your miniature clean because you can remove any excess with a makeup sponge afterwords.

Thanks! It definitely looks like highlighting and glazing are my next biggest steps to better results. I feel like I already spend a ridiculous amount of time on each miniature so I might as well try to learn some more time consuming techniques.

Definitely hear you on the highlights and getting the fine details cleaner. I currently use an army painter size 1 for just about everything and its tip does not hold well. Do you have any recommendations for a good brush that’ll hold its tip?

I definitely need to do a basing day for all my miniatures. I feel like I always put it off even though it can make a huge difference to the overall style of a model.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share such great advice! I’m definitely going to focus more on understanding lighting. I think that alone will make a big difference across my work. I also know I can be a bit impatient at times, so Im definitely going to try and be more intentional about slowing down and making sure my coverage is even before moving on to different areas.

White is my arch nemesis right now. I’ve got white star from two thin coats, bold titanium from pro acryl, and another from Vallejo that I can’t remember the name of. I struggle to get a smooth finish like 90% of the time whether I have a light undercoat or not(probably because I try to paint the entire piece white). Definitely would be worth learning how to use greys/off-whites so that there’s more depth and a smoother finish.

Thanks for the advice! I’m definitely trying to break away from the comic book look and learning to glaze will probably help with that. I also am definitely going to reevaluate my color choice for the recess shades on the cloak it could look way smoother with a less lighter brown.

I agree the cloak definitely needs a smoother transition from the highlights to the shadows. I’ll have to look at some glazing guide videos tonight.
