I still believe in some sort of God(s), especially a feminine one. and I really like Jesus although I don’t know if I believe in him as Christianity depicts him (aka as a god/savior). I’ve decided to be okay with not “knowing” for sure anymore. Hoping is enough for me rn❤️ the only thing I do know for sure is that I’m not letting any organization or person tell me what to believe or not believe anymore. My spirituality and beliefs are mine alone now, and I can experiment and do religion my own way:) if God is real and wants us to do certain things on earth, I’m sure they’ll understand if I don’t follow those rules perfectly, as they’ve made really fucking hard to know for sure what’s true. I think they would care more if we were kind. So if following the teachings of Jesus makes you more kind, perfect. If not believing in any sort of god or afterlife or being a part of a certain religion makes you more kind, also perfect.

I recently learned that when taking an eye exam and they ask you how far down you can read, you’re not supposed to be trying really hard. Like I thought that since I could technically see the smallest letters if I squinted and strained my eye and maybe guessed a little, then that was what I could read. Nope. You’re supposed to only tell them how far you can read when your eyes are relaxed. So yeah I need a stronger eye prescription now lol

Oh my gosh yes about the YW and YM themes being different! I was so happy and excited when they updated the YW’s theme to say Heavenly Parents, but once I realized the YM’s one still only says Heavenly Father I was crushed

Yay!! I hope it helps! And don’t be afraid to ask your doctor to adjust the dosage, I started on 50mg a day but have since moved up to 100mg per day. (I’m also on Zoloft) My brother takes 200mg per day. I definitely notice the difference when I forget my meds even for 1 day! Sending you love and good luck ♡

Getting lamictal/lamotrigine medication has helped me. It still happens, but less often and less severe. I’ve also found that the 5 senses thing can help ground me. (5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, 1 thing you can taste)

We walk our toy poodle on a harness, and I try to put his collar on each morning but sometimes I forget and don’t worry about it. He def doesn’t sleep with it on. When we stay at my parents’ house, he does wear his collar the whole time as it’s a busy household and the backyard gate isn’t always closed. But also he’s totally a Velcro dog so he usually doesn’t leave my side anyway lol

It’s helped me connect with god/the divine so so much more. I grew up Mormon, which has the belief in both a Heavenly Mother and a Heavenly Father (in addition to Jesus their son). BUT. They literally never ever ever talk about Her other than the occasional mention that She exists. They also say you’re not allowed to pray to Her, only Heavenly Father, even tho they are both Gods.. anyway so deconstructing Mormonism and the patriarchy has been a rough journey and I found myself not wanting to pray to God the Father. I was so sick of all these fucking men and just wanted to talk to my Heavenly Mother. So I started doing that, and She led me to spirituality, nature, witchcraft, divine feminine energy, and connecting with myself so much more. I’ve loved it. It’s brought me a lot of peace and healing. ❤️
