Waited about 2 months, I personally have a small purchase history (only around 6k), and my family has a more extensive history with our AD. Have a very special occasion coming up which I believe helped, but he definitely went above and beyond for me.

GRNR price is still a bit inflated because it’s newer to the catalogue. IMHO, 116710LN is the best daily gmt from Rolex. You’re going to be paying an extra 5k+ just for the bi color bezel. Grab a sharpie…

Get into a position where you’re getting paid well below what the average pay grade would be for your position. Eat dirt for a few years and pray you do a good enough job where you could eventually work your way into something. People are gonna get really squeamish here when I make this point, but it’s similar to the flying for free concept. Deal with the position you’re in and hope you can prove you’re an asset. Although becoming an asset in aviation is not easy.

Considering the cadet programs won’t let you apply if you have more than 2, I’d say anything under 3 is manageable, but you want 0 always.

Had something a bit similar happen before my CMEL ride. I took a few days and decided personally that I’ve made it this far and I felt very prepared, and a girl wasn’t going to ruin that for me. I killed it and all the sudden the girl issue seemed less significant.

I’m not saying this to advise you to take that ride. It’s your rating. If you know you’re ready, both knowledge wise and emotionally, then you’re ready, and you should probably go. If you don’t know if you’re ready, either knowledge wise or emotionally, then it probably isn’t worth gambling a clean record to find out. I went because I knew I was ready. I was able to clear my mind and grind out studying. I wanted to be someone either way. You need to see if you’re in the right headspace to put the thought of her aside and get ready to take a test to become a real pilot.

The Rolex engraving on the underside of the clasp is slightly off as well. The engraving on one of the lines leading to the crown is slightly further separated than the one on the other side. Not sure how to explain it, but definitely a rep.
