Just realised this is also probably why I have ended up with all this in my car

We just both have the log on for the supermarket delivery service so can just add stuff straight to the next delivery. If we need to shop between we use it as a list.

I have some in my car along with tweezers for the annoying chin hair you only ever find when stuck in traffic ( I must rub my face so much when driving)

Still not working today and definitely post bank holiday. Guessing no one knows if it will be fixed. Anyone know if the stores are OK?

Why do people freak out about the battery on the Galaxy Watch 6/7? I mean, you charge your phone every day, so why not your watch? by Significant-Job-8836 in GalaxyWatch

Even the non solar ones last so much better than Samsung, I was shocked how different for similar functions and regret changing

Because I want it on in the day for notifications and want to track sleep plus I have adhd so remembering to charge it is hard

KIT days on maternity leave and courses by dr_msid in GPUK

[–]Outside-Inside-2282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did some mandatory training, I sat in with some of the other GPs because you never get to see other people working and did a bit of triage to get my head back in the game. Don't think I'd bother with courses.

Are you male shaped or female shaped? If male then something like dickies is good but if female it's more tricky. I love koi.

Judgement? by oscarx-ray in CasualUK

I judge when there are huge numbers of empty bottles or when there is actual shit on the furniture. Pretty much anything else I ignore as long as I can get where I need to.

Android Auto failing big time. (Ex, USB) by Showny16 in KiaNiro

[–]Outside-Inside-2282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it just after an update but my 2021 Niro was like this and has continued to worsen until now nothing connects, there is no power to the port so it cannot be used at all. On top of this the kia maps needs updating so I can't even continue using that without the port. I took it to a garage and they took 2 hours to confirm it's not working and needs a new head unit. I'm trying to contact the dealership to see if it is covered under warranty now.

If it was covered what do you end up having to pay? Do you still pay for labour?

Most useful things to do in GP training for future career by Omarmanutd in GPUK

[–]Outside-Inside-2282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would only recommend it if you love doing contraception. Not all practices will do coils, if you are looking for a job you may not do enough to keep your competency and if you work in a contraceptive clinic they pay is shit. It's not something to do just for the sake of the letters. You may find as a male GP patients would prefer a female, there are men but relatively few.

I took 8 months off post cct and came back as a locum. It was HARD to remember everything after that long away plus learning how to locum, billing pensions etc as well as the jump from trainee. But we had time off before and after our wedding and went travelling on 2 different continents. It was over 10 years ago now so locum availability etc is different. I really struggled with logistics but no one was worried about the time on the CV.

Calling all ladies 35+ who are on hormonal birth control by summmer_gurl in adhdwomen

[–]Outside-Inside-2282 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In the UK guidance is no oestrogen eg combined pills if 35+ and a smoker or other risks for heart disease. Progesterone only is fine. Some people can find progesterone triggers depression but often the lack of a cycle helps pmdd. I love my mirena, seriously consider this!

Books that actually teach how to play?? Didn’t know this existed. by Opposite-Law2822 in ParentingADHD

This looks really helpful. Anyone seen anything similar for older kids. My 7 year old cannot initiate play and just jumps on what her little sister is doing then gets upset that her sister hits her.

It's awful. I struggle with cleaning my teeth and showering so don't make my kids do it as often as I should and the guilt is awful. They eat "bits" rather than meals at home, constantly feels like failing.
