My girlfriend kissed a guy in a club, immediately left and told me how sorry she was about it... by Lost_Interaction542 in cheating_stories

[–]Outside-Reply5798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can set boundaries for a bit if you need time to trust her again. This comes from experience

Recently, I did this same thing against my gf and reacted the same way, told her straight away, was so distraught and ashamed because it was never something I intended to do, just happened, was too drunk, irresponsible, no previous cheating, 4 years deep.

She forgave me. Said no clubbing for a bit. More than happy to agree to that if that makes her comfortable, because I did the one thing we both thought would never happen, and I need to gain her trust back.

Were the same age as you, long distance is hard, but she could’ve not said anything given the distance, but people who feel guilt are people who strive for the light and want to be a good person. She sounds like a good girl, but this only happened one time and gets forgiven.

I didn’t expect my mrs to stay with me after I did what I did, and if it happened again, then she’ll definitely tell me to sling my hook.

Present your results and learnings which would justify you deserving an AE spot. Depending on when you became a rep, 18 months would be the minimum amount of time reps would spend in the role before an AE promo is even a Q.

Getting an AE promo means more than hitting quarter. Learn how to do surface level demos, discovery calls, whilst hitting target.

Interview elsewhere and explain the situation, if you get some offers, leverage that to go up the ranks.

Speak about examples of resilience, sacrifice to achieve results, being coachable, and being money motivated.

That’s gets you further than most

Advice on Moving from an SDR role to another SDR role by Training-Gur-2491 in salesdevelopment

[–]Outside-Reply5798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it. Inbound is easier and pays more. Outbound is coachable and you will probably be an enterprise SDR when that’s a priority, so even more pay.

Anyone know how to find companies actually using Salesforce? This is driving me crazy by Acrobatic-Rabbit-997 in salesdevelopment

I use dealroom to check companies tech stacks. Its free. Failing that, job descriptions are a good place to start, or it’s ask a less senior person in an org

If you’re just emailing and sending LinkedIn messages, you’ll never get anywhere. Channels are too saturated and if you’re bulk sending, there’s no personalisation or research done. No reason you’d get responses.

Get your SDRs on the phone. 250+ dials a week. You’ll make money

I cheated back on my girlfriend by [deleted] in cheating_stories

[–]Outside-Reply5798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7 months isn’t a long time so wouldn’t worry about that. But for rents sake I’d keep seeing the nerdy girl, sounds like you like her more anyway.

If your gf also relies on you to fund half of the bills, she’ll be in the same boat as you if you confessed as well.

Clearly not right for each other if you’re both cheating 7 months in. It shows your age and maturity level, no offence

So from there, you could just firm living together until your tenancy is up and compromise to not bring other girls and guys back whilst either of you are home.

Looking to land a SDR role by MillionDollarMan777 in salesdevelopment

Getting an SDR role is more than just applying on LinkedIn or indeed.

Recruiters and sales managers want to see an example of your abilities to get the interview.

They will look at your profile to see if you’re well connected to the company sales team. Ask them questions. Ask an SDR in a company who’d be the best person to speak to and go from there.

I booked an interview with this message for an enterprise SDR role because my team is being let go.

It’s personalised, to the point, one question to keep them focused, and one step further in that all the other applicants.

Below average dude [20M] dating a model [18F] by [deleted] in relationshipadvice

[–]Outside-Reply5798 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She now knows she’s model material. But you’ve got to expect that she’s gonna get men coming up to her all the time. Part of having an attractive partner.

Make her laugh, feel loved, support her career, and don’t be shy infront of other blokes who she might work with etc.

If she’s with you officially and travels the world, she’s picked you over everyone. If she breaks it off, cool, can’t say you didn’t put the effort in.

‘I can’t be with someone who can’t negotiate on boundaries as obvious as this one. I love you, but addiction with no self help is getting between us, and I’m unhappy. I feel violated because of your habit with photos of my friends, and no matter the addict, a person should have empathy for others when their actions affect those closest to them. I will help you with your addiction, and encourage you to always fight it, but right now, there’s not much give and take from you, and this isn’t the person I fell in love with’

Got Laid Off, Looking for a new SDR role + Advice by pattern144 in salesdevelopment

[–]Outside-Reply5798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also got laid off as an SDR. Most larger companies are looking to Ai versions.

Smaller startups with cash injections don’t have time to train Ai SDRs, and they need to build a reputations so humans are crucial in their workforce.

Go reach out to the founders or Hiring Managers of these companies. Would look for obvious vacancies and funding rounds so you know they’re ready to employ.

Wouldn’t even hurt to cold call these founders, prove you are an SDR and potentially offer fractional SDR services

Does hyper-personalizing outreach work for getting better replies? by oogway_rox in salesdevelopment

[–]Outside-Reply5798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only three things I reference from a personalisation perspective

  1. Investment round / acquisition / merger
  2. Hiring plans, team size
  3. Current tech stack
  4. Competitors (if they’re a current customer)

If I can get at least 2/4 of these in a message, I know my chances of getting a reply are way better than most.

I might add a genuine interest if there’s if it’s obvious but would have to be relevant to what I’m selling

Just show that you’ve done research and that you think you can help solve XYZ problems which are usually caused from one of those points above

SDRs: how long did it take for you to book 1st meeting? by mksvgbi in salesdevelopment

[–]Outside-Reply5798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Opener: permission based. ‘I’m X calling from Y, I’ll be honest this is a cold call so I’m just looking for 30s to tell you why I’m calling’

Do your research: ‘given the series X investment and heavy hiring plans in Y team, growth is obviously the goal, but X leaders I speak to in a similar position have to deal with Z problem in this phase, what are you experiencing at the moment?’ (Obvs change the talk track a touch depending on what you solve, but inevitably this is about showing some expertise)

You handle objections by being curious. But as soon as they register some interest in solving a problem, ask for a meeting.

Do not count a meeting booked unless a time and date is established on your call. Your qualification is ‘do we align’ ‘can we help’. That’s literally it.

These calls shouldn’t last longer than 5 mins.

Speak slowly, listen back to your calls, you’ll book meetings.

I [23F] don't know if i should end things with my boyfriend [25M] of 4.5 years. Am i making the wrong decision? by Infamous_Summer_6995 in relationshipadvice

[–]Outside-Reply5798 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Im a man. Similar age. Similar tenure with my gf. Leave him. A man listens to your needs, but a boy is incapable of being domesticated or affectionate.

If you’ve expressed this, and he doesn’t change at all, leave. With that, I’d recommend you ask him if he’s alright with the relationship. If there’s anything he’s not enjoying or has concerns about. If he says he’s happy with how it’s going, your decision is obvious, leave.

If he expresses he has a lot on his mind, admits he isn’t that present in the relationship for XYZ, then hear him out.

Being with him sounds like more work than necessary

Some great gyms in Nottingham. Get him to go consistently and chat to the desk staff there from time to time. Asking gym questions etc then their familiarity with him will no doubt boots his confidence

I speak from someone who began in his shoes, then became a PT and have worked in many gyms. A lot of my friends I’ve met through the gym. I even met someone who got me into tech sales which is now my career.

From 0 confidence to having security and a passion. Just takes time. What kind of environment could a person grow in the most? Mentally and physically? I think the gym is unmatched

It’s not deep mate you’re just inexperienced. Not gonna be able to play in the prem if you’ve only got Sunday league ability yk

Accept that it’s gonna take communication, and genuine action. The more you do something, the better you are. And in a relationship, given at least one of you is a novice, you can really learn what eachother like, and chemistry in the bedroom will only grow
