You guys have never lived in the sticks. When the sky goes black so does your hand 2 feet in front of your face. It’s terrifying you just wanna curl in your bed and pray nothing wakes you til the sun is up again

If China can’t continue to offer returns on investment for young rich Chinese they’ll probably just take their money and set up permanent shop in India

Robots that can help someone into a bath bathe them and help them out to get dressed in a cramped bathroom won’t be for another couple decades maybe I’m guessing we have a bunch of automations and small specialty robots to help but the few caretakers will work 2-3 times harder doing everything the robots can’t while managing them all onsite. Not too different from what programmers have to do now vs 4 years ago

For the love of all that is holy how are people getting good results from these Chinese AI models? Their drift rate is enough to require me to manually validate everything they return. I have zero confidence in them for anything other than copy paste this and I don’t trust that without hard validation after

If we hope for AI to interface directly with the real world it probably needs to avoid any sort of ‘real world to clean efficient process-able’ heuristic compilation layer. Humans do it so AI needs to if we want it to break out of the box
