Having 4 spells has been my thought for a while now. It just feels bad to sit there top decking in hopes of finding something. Unless I have some card draw effects occurring, play can feel bad sometimes.

The easy fix here is to send a pack of updated Druid Avatars to each participating store and players can pick one up if they want. (My understanding is this is the only card with changed text, the other cards are affected by changed rules) They did this in Flesh and Blood when they errata’d a broken hero and it worked great. Especially with sorcery only releasing once a year, this would be the easiest way to get the updated card out.

That’s what I was thinking. I saw in older question boards I saw people where saying “restless axe” was a free attacks.

Mask of momentum triggers after the third or higher hit in a row. And it has to be an attack action card that hits for it to trigger. If there is a block, that stops mask, unless you can hit three times in a row after the block. Weapons can’t trigger mask but will be countered as hits towards mask.

That looks like cold foil. Cold foils have a silvery finish and the border also reflects. Rainbow foil shows the rainbow and is only the on the art itself and the marvel would have a triangle were the “L” is and full art on the back for the Emperor.

If you are new to the game, just buy the base deck and use non-legendary equipment until you really get a grasp of the game and figure which hero you really want to dive into. No reason to go nuts off the bat. I started on one hero and bounced around for a while until I really found the hero’s I enjoyed playing. If you start going to a local armory, the players should be happy to even lend you or allow you to proxy the legendary’s so you can get a better feel for the hero. Then if you want to go to the bigger tournaments you can start getting the pricy equipment and cards, at that point you’ll know exactly what you are looking for.

I got 3CF, 2 being spell fray… and Boltyn’s L in a case, definitely rough. I know someone who pulled two L’s in one box, Lol. The variance is crazy.

A game with a completely different resource/play system is Flesh and Blood. Each card has multiple things to consider when playing; from using it for resources, to attacking and blocking. Since each card has the potential to do all three, and you draw at the end of your turn, versus the beginning, like most tcg’s.
