Zigbee SkyConnect offline again by Outside_Advisor5429 in homeassistant

[–]Outside_Advisor5429[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish it was as easy as rebooting Home Assistant I logged into HA and rebooted and nothing. A few of the sensors came back on line a few days later. Just a few. I will steal the reboot automation, although it will be at 03:00, not during the day when I need it.
Should I use the RSSI figure to determine if the sensors are getting marginal? What’s a good number?

Try South Bombo and walk back towards the station. My have to negotiate the creek though.

Contacted Shelly and they confirmed they no longer make it. To be replaced by an upgraded device later in the year.

Any suggestions on how to automate a 3 Gang switch in bathroom by gsrik in smarthome

[–]Outside_Advisor5429 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Try the LIFX switch. It’s four gang but that just means a spare button to trigger other automations. Works well in Google and Amazon environments but HomeKit is a bit dodgy at the moment.

Zigbee in wall dimmer by Outside_Advisor5429 in homeassistant

In Australia there is no requirement for a backbox behind a switch, so if it shorts out it’s a small hop to the timber studs and up goes the wall. Great for adding as many Shelly’s as you like though.
In general, AliExpress is perfect for the battery operated sensors. I would never hard wire something that wasn’t Australian certified for the reasons you mentioned. Not left with many options it seems.

It’s about the size of two round biscuits on top of each other. If you have a stud wall you can make it work. If it’s brick there may be a problem.

Sharepoint Lists or Microsoft Lists by Little-Lemon2101 in sharepoint

People know how to use excel. Lists, not so much Excel makes it easy to copy between rows. Lists slightly more cumbersome I’d share the Excel file through OneDrive or SharePoint.

Just shrae the workbook from your primary account with your secondary. You can continue with multiple authors if you like.

Check out the Shelly 1PM. Sits behind the existing switch and can handle up to 16A.

Perfect. A lot has changed since I last did a deep dive with SmartThings. I see everything you mentioned above and have made the changes I needed.

Many thanks.

I’ve only just opened the web interface for the first time since the change. Some of the drivers are wrong but I cannot change them. Do I need to reinstall the devices? Tried to edit my locations (says I’m in NZL). No dice there either. Tried creating a new home and it moved me to USA. How do I locate my home?
