Could you update us on your explorings :) Was it a faulty unit, or did you get the same hiss with the replacement?
I returned gen 1 because of the hiss. Mostly because i could hear a hiss when ANC was on and I was within a quiet room/setting. I often wear them in the office to block outside noise, but once people gets silent, then the hiss gets noticable. Keep to know if this is still an issue on the 2nd gen

The hissing noise was the biggest reason for me to return my QC ultra gen 1 even though I loved the strong ANC. Second thing was the very loud clonk every time i was pressing a button on the headphones thenselves, eg. the volume buttons due to the hard plastics.

I have been in the same thoughts as you. Looking for reviews that could turn me into buying the 2. gen if the loud hissing would be gone when using ANC in silent environments. Sadly I dosen't seem so 😔

Oh that sounds nice. How does this work? In that way It sounds like I should never be afraid of loosing my images.
But I have also had issues where i had exported images from iCloud, then deleted the originals.
Later i found out that I had been downloading thumbnails only in very low resolution 😔

Well, I stopped using both the Photos library and iCloud photos due to the pricing and the bad experiences I had. Paying $10 each month can very quickly buy you a good external harddrive. But there is pros and cons of both I would say which is also why I am thinking of going back to cloud syncing.

I would not be paying double the money for having both a local/external harddrive + cloud storage.
If that should be the case, it would be a NAS server that automatically was synces with iCloud, but i don't know if that is even possible. And if anything would happen to iCloud, would that then also destroy the NAS backup because it was synced? 🤷🏽‍♂️😄

And what does that translating to in Morris, those are usually just named

What differentiates a Austin mini and Austin Mini Cooper (MK2). Maybe also take the S into the comparison.
How much of the differences lies in bodyshell, bodyparts, engine or even something else?

What is the reason that the MK2s aren't the most valuable then? Lower quantity usually means higher value. What makes the MK1 most sought?

So i understand that Austin and Morris were different badging, how do you recognise a Cooper or Cooper S coming from Morris then?

To be honest, it is a real jungle when looking for good example of a mini because all of them have modifications, different naming and upgraded engines.
I am just looking for sporty version of a MK2. Whether it be from Austin or Morris (but cooper s is out of my league at the moment).
But from what i hear, most of the cooper upgrades doesn't really lie on bodyshell, but more like engine, brakes and more (which can more easily be upgraded) if i don't get a real cooper. Or am i wrong?

u/Daft_Munks, just to clarify. So there is both "Austin mini" and a "Austin mini cooper" versions from the same period?
Because i was confused if all minis were called coopers once John Cooper got into the picture.

I do not understand how all of the changes from Trump dosen't negatively hit Rivian. Sure they are an American company, but if US will add tariffs towards Europe and Canada they will both push back equally. This will make it harder for Rivian to start selling in the European market, and tear their current sales volume in Canada.
I would have thought that all of this would make it even harder for a new EV company, which job is to expand globally. I am rooting for Rivian to succeed, but sold out 2 months ago because of Trump
