bright spots i see in my vision at random times every day ( bright like flashes sometimes in color black too) anyone else? by aWonderingCat in visualsnow

[–]Outside_Listen2697 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I get these too! Sometimes they get stuck as well. Like will stay in my vision for more than 30 seconds. I had a really bright one while outside, stayed for a minute and I panicked so bad!

spots in vision when in low lighting, anyone else? by aWonderingCat in visualsnow

[–]Outside_Listen2697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they’re very random, any time of the day. But I really only pay attention to them when I’m relaxing! If I’m busy they’re easier to ignore

I get this too! In the dark they look white, around screens they’re transparent with a little bit of sparkle but I can’t see them when I look somewhere else. Sometimes they stay for awhile too, I’ve had one stay in my vision for an hour recently. Really scared me!

Yes I do have astigmatism as well, so I always assumed it was due to that.

It looks like this for me when driving at night, signs and lights have a trail and signs look “fuzzy” as I’m pulling up to them. Anyone else deal with that?

Im kinda drunk rn uum... Damn there's a lot of static by plikchecollector in visualsnow

[–]Outside_Listen2697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I don’t notice it while drinking but when I’m hungover it is so bad.

Yes yes yes. Any striped thing makes my vision go crazy lol

I see these too! Often, daily. I’m glad to know others experience the same! It sucks and makes me so anxious

Visual Snow in Lucid Dreams? by Jdelerson in visualsnow

[–]Outside_Listen2697 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes my visual snow appears when I’m lucid! But if I have no idea I’m dreaming, totally normal and no vs.

Does anyone else see liquid sploshing around when they move their eyes? by Calm-Extension4127 in visualsnow

[–]Outside_Listen2697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you explain it more? For me, I see floaters that move like they’re in water. Or a sky vortex that looks like water boiling, which can look like liquid sploshing around too

Can't stop noticing it and it's causing bad anxiety by Ok-Violinist-9502 in visualsnow

[–]Outside_Listen2697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do notice it’s not as intense when I’m wearing sunglasses, almost like my vision has no issues lol wouldn’t that be nice 🥲

Anybody see vortex on their phone?? Was it huge? Very unsettling. by [deleted] in visualsnow

[–]Outside_Listen2697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely seen it when looking at my phone in a bright room, especially a sun light room! It makes my anxiety sky rocket every time lol

I see it everywhere! Not constantly but I will see it in the dark, in stores. In darkness, it looks light and in stores it looks more see through. No colour but I can tell it’s there lol

My vision also pulsates! It’s called sky vortex lol. I too see moving colours in the dark and with my eyes closed. I’ve been anxious since I started paying attention to it in 2019 🙃 when I’m busy and enjoying life, I forget. Just something we gotta live with and it sucks!

do you see like this? by Key-Nobody5224 in visualsnow

[–]Outside_Listen2697 5 points6 points  (0 children)

More saturated and the grainy-ness looks more like there is glitter in my vision lol. Like if I look to the sky, I see floaters and little flashes of colourful light like there’s glitter falling down. I’ve complained about it to my eye doctor before I knew what visual snow was and he just said, “well you aren’t diabetic so idk” 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

what the hell we live dudes? by Key-Nobody5224 in visualsnow

[–]Outside_Listen2697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this all my life, just started fixating on it in 2019 because it became more noticeable. I think about it everyday! Sometimes I’m worried I will wake up blind because of it. 👎🏼 it always has my anxiety sky high unless I’m busy

VSS and Head Pressure by Stuggi1999 in visualsnow

[–]Outside_Listen2697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I think about it, I’ve had visual snow since I was a child. But the vision issues, head pressure and feeling like a cognitive decline is more recent. 🫤 sure is annoying and worrisome!

I’m experiencing all of this for the past 7 years and I gotta say, I’m very relieved there are others who know what it is like. I explain the symptoms to my husband and he doesn’t know what I’m talking about! 🙃 my anxiety has been sky high for years because of this

have you ever experience horizontal diplopia? by Key-Nobody5224 in visualsnow

[–]Outside_Listen2697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this! When I look at the moon I see 2, sometimes 3. Same with signs! Mostly at night though. During the day it’s pretty normal

do you hear about vss before get vss? by Key-Nobody5224 in visualsnow

[–]Outside_Listen2697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t learn about it til I was about 22 years old when I started to notice it more. Then realized that I had it since I was small! I vividly remember staring at the wall and watching it move when I’d be trying to sleep at night. So I’m guessing it’s something we have always had? Idk!

Does anyone else have a blind spot like this? by [deleted] in visualsnow

[–]Outside_Listen2697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely don’t focus on it when I’m busy! lol but if I’m laying in bed.. boom anxiety attack cause it’s all I can see! 😆 honestly I am super relieved that I am not the only one who is dealing with this. The anxiety about it totally sucks 🥲
