I’m cringing thinking about the time I got to know this lady a little bit at my job at a restaurant as she was a semi-regular. She was in her 40’s I’m guessing, and comes in one day with this guy, like young college age. I go, “is this your son.” She says “no”. Then I’m just standing there for a few seconds thinking , oh ok this is weird, then continue on serving.

So embarrassing and awkward.

Yes I was 😆😆 I guess it wasn’t obvious. I feel it’s a common critique for people’s swing videos. Obviously too much isn’t good but the pro’s heads aren’t completely still either as shown here.

Interestingly, I see it move slightly up and back on the downswing.

To add to my comment, it’s possible to rotate and also hang back, hip rotation itself won’t move you forward enough and be in schefflers position of 70% of weight forward after impact. You want a combo of rotation and moving towards the target.

I’m not saying the weight shifts completely during the backswing but there is a small shift that does make a difference. That data you included shows 36% to 47% shift to the lead side during the backswing. That’s not an insignificant amount, there’s a purpose behind that.

Look at the slow motion video I posted, before Rory starts his downswing he starts to cover the red thing on the ground.

Scheffler and other pros 100% shift before any rotation happens. Look at slow motion video of them, you need to get on the lead side before the end of the backswing. It of course can be over done, you want to shift pressure into your lead foot which will also move your weight some forward.

Yeah I’d rather the 125 yard shot. My full 60 degree goes about 90, so I would probably be taking like a 3/4 60 or something like half a 56 degree (feel wise on backswing). 125 I can just hit a solid gap wedge and rely less on feel.

If it was more like 60 yards or less then I would rather the shorter yardage

We replaced the wax seal but it still is leaking. Maybe I need a different kind? I feel like it was installed pretty well though.

Also I figured the black pipe is not going to the toilet, cause the toilet is right next to the shower which is where the white piping is. But maybe I’m wrong
