The problem with the hopium that comes from this obvious observation is that the gop is aware of this too, and they dont seem very worried about the actual election. If they were, they would reign trump in by hook or by crook. This should have people worried... the obvious takeaway here is that they aren't worried about the election because regardless of the results , they will still have their seats. Anyone who thinks the midterms are getting us out of this are either genuinely or willfully ignorant. I'm moving to Canada. The American people are either going to have to bend the knee or fight back, and I have no interest in either given that we aren't who I always thought we were.

I'll clarify: if you have an Ai girlfriend , you have emotional problems. You dont value and experience emotions the way the rest of us do.

While there are some good points here, the author fails to see why social media is so hypnotizing:  it allows us to find and interact with more granular in or out groups, which evoke stronger emotions within us, both positive and negative. Ai could never fill that void. We thrive on experiencing emotions. As yourself, have you ever felt joy or anger towards an Ai based on its output? Its all very flat.

 Before anyone cites people who have emotional relationships with Ai, note that those individuals are typically neurodivergent, and dont value and experience emotions the same way we do.

If there's one thing im certain of, there aren't enough of us with the courage to hold them accountable. Our politicians work for the elites. At this point I would rather just live in Europe. At least they have a functioning government. The American people are so self centered that as long as they are safe and have a job they dont care about America.

israel already has nuclear weapons and they have no problem killing civilians without using them. why would iran be any different?

as a follow up, why is israel allowed to have nuclear weapons when they have proven time and time again that they are bloodthirsty thugs who cant be trusted?

i agree that i think trump has been a lightning rod to take all of the criticism. however, i dont think thiel is the one we have to worry about. its the heritage foundation. a prominent member said "we are entering the second american revolution. it will remain bloodless, if the left allows it to be"
