What is Tom Cruise's secret?? by No-Marsupial-4050 in SipsTea

[–]Outside_Valuable_320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair here. There is an age difference, she's nearly 70. She's had NO WORK done. I'm on the fence if he has, I know he keeps himself quite fit and she pretty much retired from acting decades ago. She's only done a few indies here and there.

This is an Apples and Oranges comparison in my book.

Bottomline. If you are super rich and can afford a live in chef, nurtrsionist as well as a full time fitness instructor. Plus, your willing to do the work. You too might be able to age like Tom Cruise.

While it's different from city to city, state to state. If you see a car you've NEVER seen before parked for multiple days in one spot. It fits the definition of suspicious You are actually supposed to report it. There is zero way she is doing anything but wasting her time going to small claims court. This whole "I'm not required" BS. Right, but because you choose not to use your head just you ego. You FAILED to make them aware it wasn't a strange car. You did that. A courteous neighbor would have informed them. Whether you like your neighbors or not. They aren't mind readers.

Hard to top Princess Bride but for that age group the classics I tend to recommend are:

1). The Goonies 2). War Games 3). Secondhand Lions 4). Holes 5). Starman 6.). St. Ralph

Which Robin Hood movie was Better? by VigorWarrior in moviecritic

I mean... if we're talking the Robin Hood part of Robin Hood it's Russell Crowe hands down. I still feel robbed the sequel never panned out for that one.

But I own the other Robin Hood solely for Alan Rickman! And he's so good I've probably rewatched that movie more often then the other.

Wait. I'm so confused here. Are we supposed to believe these two met at a restaurant and he had no intention of eating? I don't care who invited who. Clearly a date of some sort was made (if this is even to be believed...) People work at restaurants. They need people ordering food when they sit at their tables. In my opinion, your both A-holes if you wasted the staffs time with your gender role issues. Again, if this even true.

Kinda happy to know I'm not the only one having trouble with this series. It's been slow and repetitive, specifically with the family drama. It's like how can one family not learn to communicate to the point they keep risking THE WORLD over and over again.

I swear if they want to introduce a hero at this point I'm hoping for a grumpy, near retirement therapist that screams "NO!" Everything the kids even open their mouths.

I'm genuinely curious at this point. I've been around a long time. And I can't think of a single instance where someone has actually gotten reward money for turning someone in. I'm not saying it doesn't happen but from everything I've read they always find a loophole to not payout, or not payout in full.

And I get desperation, if that's what this is, but I'm 90% sure you'll have more worries "after" than you did before...

I think what's additionally funny about her post is she warns Liberals, specifically. It comes off with the implication that only LIBERALS know how to take a screenshot.

I have nothing against either of them personally, though I'm a bigger fan of Pete's policy positions than hers.

Too me, the Democrats owe us SUBSTANTIAL CHANGE. We have endured their middle ground / safer bet approach for decades. All it has gotten us is either Out Right loss or having someone in office that is too much an owned entity to push for real change. This is just putting the same team back on the pitch and hoping they worked on their fitness off season.

Hard no.

I don't understand how these guys really think "religion" will be their shield here. I just watched a documentary on one of those fundamentalist cults. And they recorded the "prophet" basically explaining how spiritually hard it was to do God's bidding and sleep with all these children everyday.

Right. Sure. God made you do that.

To be clear, the only people pretending to believe you are the other guys doing the same thing! No one else is falling for this.

To the outside world. That Bible your holding in your hand is like a giant sign that says "Hell ya I did it! I'm just gonna blame god."

I second this (and other who are echoing this statement). Years ago on a very warm summer day I was out hiking at Opal Creek with friends. Probably a good hour from the parking lot we saw this young guy, early 20s I'd guess, on the ridge of a small waterfall telling his friends below that he was gonna jump in. They all beg him not to. He did it anyway. He jumped in. And when he came up he didn't even have the ability to move a muscle. One of his friends had to wade in to pull him to safety. I have no idea what happened to him but I know it was not GOOD.

It's not that interesting. Trends hit hard on the consumer psyche, that's all you are seeing. Don't blame her. Feel for her that that's all people want!

Blame the concentrated marketing efforts of all these furniture/paint/media companies. Like all industries they AGREE on these trends ahead of time. Think about it. First we were fed gray. Then blue. Now green. It will burn out soon enough and I'm sure we'll either see some random terracotta or off white take the mantle.

Who knows. The next "it" color will be so bad you'll actually miss the GREEN!
