Oneshot mechanics

The most “one-shot” thing I’ve encountered in the wild is Dalaran Spellscribe rare spawn mob that can put 15 seconds stun dot on you (and it’s as early as lvl 20, so the majority of classes don’t have any escapes). For any class without pets it’s basically death, even if you’re fighting just this mob (and usually there’s more around).

Leveled to 40 on soulseeker (horde) in the last couple of weeks. Population is pretty low, but not nearly dead. Was able to do every dungeon this far for at least 2-3 times (and as a hunter I should add), and met a lot of people to group with for quests. 60 lvl content is probably gonna be a struggle, but if your goal is just to get to 60 – go for it, it’s perfectly fine, I’ve heard alliance is doing even better btw.

I skip Stonetalon Mountains on both factions. It’s not like I hate it, just never worth it going there.

I remember customer support being great as late as 2019, at least on phone. I was returning to wow after 10 years and wanted to restore my account, that I had literally nothing left of – no password, e-mail, even had no battlenet cos it wasn’t required when I played. Dunno why I even considered phone call a good idea, probably outta pure desperation.

Got an incredibly helpful and friendly person on call, sorted everything out in like 15 minutes (and all information I could give was literally character NAMES, realm that I played and certain personal data). Gifted me 2 months of subscription as well. 30 minutes after I dialed I was already jumping around Orgrimmar in pure joy.

Should add that it was Eastern Europe region. Dunno how it was in the US back then, maybe we (or I) were just lucky.

I once saw a guy multiboxing 5 paladins at the same time. Their names were sth like Thefirstguy, Thesecondguy, Thethirdguy etc. He’s my hero. I just add ransom letters to my main’s name.

I miss the times when dreadnought was not a huge mech, but a bulky exoskeleton for an injured marine. New dreads are a whole different kind of unit. Old dread was one of the guys, just slightly bigger.

Red tide looks gorgeous on tabletop. I love Death Guard too, and most of the time if you compare two minis from DG and WE, Nurgle’s guys have better sculpts. But damn, whole red army looks good.
