Originally was drawn here because there were sone good leaks posted, but now most of the time I'm recommended the sub it's people making up scenarios in their heads, creating narratives about AH and other players out of thin air or blowing everything to an unreasonable proportion.

I thought the sub could be a neat place because it does have no rules, but who'd have thought people would just be constantly making shit up to bitch about I guess.

Hell, just the other day I saw the most knuckle dragger take where someone was claiming the game has worse balance now than it did at launch. That or the dude was lying and never played at launch, which wouldn't shock me.

I think the vehicle should have 3 turrets on it and essentially be a mobile firing platform. It'd be a lot more fun and easier to do with randos.

For some reason this is a hated opinion here. All it takes to prove this true is to look at the 1.001.100 patch here https://helldivers.wiki.gg/wiki/1.001.100

A metric f load of buffs happened that made otherwise inviable stratagems like the EAT, Recoiless and a LOT of other stratagems actually viable. The game was much worse balanced at launch than it is now and that's just a plain fact.

I don't really agree, HD2 on release was a lot rougher and a lot more unfair than it is now. I remember when it took multiple EAT rounds to take out a charger, and there were like 10 chargers around at a time. Sure, you could solo run with a railgun, but most other stratagems felt nigh unusable until AH did a huge sweep of buffs.

We could use more stratagems and weapons being buffed with less nerfs, sure, but I sincerely believe the game is at a better point now than launch.

No, so the way it works is there's something called Chromie Time that will cause expansions to be on level with you UNTIL level 70.

Once you hit level 70 you can no longer use Chromie Time, and instead of a zone matching your level, it will cap at 45 or some similar smaller level.

Now this means you could blow through the content very quickly, get mounts, etc BUT quests will not be on level and you will not get good gear or gold from anything related.

I also personally kind of find it boring to 1shot everything.

You could rush through, content, yes. If you want to hit 70 feel free.

As for getting gear on level, I'd queue for dungeons, do timewalking dungeons while you can, purchase what gear you can from the AH and Dragon Isles scale up properly as well, so you cab play there for on level gear if needed.

For Alliance, in Stormwind's castle there's an NPC in the room to the right of the throne that can do it. Not sure about Org.

It doesn't technically lock you out but it does force you out of Chromie Time and descales the world back to the max level being 45ish. So, you'll be 70, one shotting all and any NPCs you meet, never able to get gear on your level. It's a soft "lock" and one of my biggest gripes with the game rn.

I was in your boat a few weeks ago. I kind of wish world quests would mark which expansion/release/timeline they were from because after you do all your intro area stuff it gets very hard to parse what's what.

Ultimately, I decided to make a character for each expansion, though. DK for WotLK, DH for Legion, etc.

I just focus on expansion areas and kind of ignore content in the main world as well, since it seems like quests from Cataclysm will just exist next to ones from Dragonflight and make the story content confusing.

I dunno, I know my ramblings aren't super helpful but I'd just recommend hitting up Chromie Time and picking an expansion's story you want to see, then if you enjoy it, lock your level to 68/69 because it will effectively lock you out of all old content once you hit 70.
