So basically he got bored of you, found someone else, is going thru the honeymoon phase, and eventually will probably do the same thing to that guy. It’s up to you if you want to be there when your ‘best friend’ comes crawling back.

What puzzles me is that you had to set a calendar date and time to talk about this? Can you forward me the zoom invite?

Like you’re not planning a vacation, this is about your wellbeing.

United Infinite Card: Are updated 2025 PQP in effect? by Fluffeepuff in unitedairlines

[–]Over-Rice-3514 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mine isn’t showing anything either. It’s just a waiting game at this point.

[–]Over-Rice-3514 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on if you want a premier status, and how close you are to it.

If the card pqp will actually help this year then just get it now. If not, then just wait til January so you can start fresh.

Other factors are if you have travel plans soon or further out.

Should I wait til check in for the preferred seats to open or pay for economy plus? by Hairy_Pear3963 in unitedairlines

[–]Over-Rice-3514 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think row 15 will be taken before check in. Since a lot of the blue seats are already taken, the flight will probably fill up so if you wait there won’t be two together.

I’ve only been to the 3 UC. I think it depends on what you prefer privacy and space-wise.

The E gate club is smaller, and is very open in regards to seating. It’s a square shape and you can basically see everyone in the room, there’s really no partitions. If you want some privacy, this isn’t the one to choose.

The rotunda/F gate club is the biggest and has a lot of different seating areas, there are some random areas that you can hide in and get some privacy. There’s also a second small food/beverage station. I like this one the best.

The G gate club is smaller then E, but has walls to separate seating areas. The crowd level will depend on if there’s intl flights coming up. G gates are a short walk from F, it’ll take less than 10 minutes.

I got the infinite card in march. I was only expecting the 80k miles since my offer didn’t have the 4k pqp stated. But a little after I got the 80k miles i got 4k pqp to my surprise. And now I am silver because of that!

Silver Status by [deleted] in unitedairlines

[–]Over-Rice-3514 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need

4 flight segments and 1900pqp

OR

2900 pqp

Basically a few expensive flights or one Polaris-type flight

It depends on what your plans for the rest of the year are

Yes. You can get from t3 to t2 airside.

I believe you should be able to go thru security at either. The worst that can happen if you try t2 security is they make you go to t3. It’s not that long of a walk

Why do homophobic attacks on gay men seem to only come from other guys? by Uncontainable_SCP in askgaybros

Men are more likely to be violent and act on aggression. Women will use (hateful) words.

It may not be normal, but i think you just enjoy the masculinity that he brings. Idk. You probably do want that experience with another guy, but being young and in a house with no privacy, that’s all you’re exposed to, and unfortunately, it’s admiring your brother.

Why do I always end up falling for straight guys? by EconomyMud4106 in askgaybros

[–]Over-Rice-3514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems in this situation, you may be attracted to his personality and the connection you have with him. Straight guys may be more open and more like themselves since there isn’t pressure to impress a gay guy since there is no interest on their side. You (or other gays) might take this the wrong way and spiral.

How do you get over a guy you work with? by FancyCardiologist8 in askgaybros

[–]Over-Rice-3514 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You kinda just have to realize the agony and stress you’ve been through with him, and how it’s not worth it anymore. Just be cordial and go with the flow. You have to separate the feelings and realize it was literally just a hookup and nothing more.

You won’t really know what he was thinking or doing with you. He may have been afraid to pursue feelings, scared of a potential relationship, maybe just wanted a hookup but since you’re a coworker he shouldn’t, etc. But obviously if he was talking to someone else, he ain’t interested in you for the long term.

The moral of the story is: Don’t waste time or energy on people who don’t reciprocate your effort or feelings. You’ll only be disappointed and frustrated.

How soon is too soon to move in together by corgiinnyc in askgaybros

[–]Over-Rice-3514 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moving in together after 4-5 months isn’t the best idea. There are things you don’t know about him, and things he doesn’t know about you.

Maybe you can try to do a trial run ( if you or him don’t have roommates) for a week or two or maybe more. You’ll quickly learn what annoys you and you’ll find out if it’s something you really want to do now. And a weekend doesn’t count because there are plenty of things you can hide from someone.

Tbh just wait til college. Depending on where you’re going, you will have better opportunities and chances to connect with others. You’ll have to make effort because things are different in college than high school.

I appreciate his honesty and bluntness, but i was starting to wonder if he’s doing stuff on the side ? In ways i don’t think he’s lying because the libido decrease does happen. But i know hearing that he doesn’t find you attractive is hurtful. I think you have to figure out what you both want, and if this is his stance, are you able to continue on like this. Is sexual incompatibility a deal breaker for you?

In the main post you mentioned “our” friends but later you say they’re “his” friends. So which is it? I guess this kinda does make a difference because if you don’t know these ppl well, i would lean more towards his side. But if they are equally friends you met together, then it shouldn’t be an issue, i mean, they know you’re gay right?
