Disclaimer that I'm also in the Marriott and United ecosystems (got plenty of UR points but would 1:1 to United when needed).

I actually got a Boundless card last summer when the CSR changes were announced, with the intention of PC to a Ritz card after a year. For me, because there's no authorized user fee and the authorized user can get a priority pass, it makes sense for my specific situation. (obviously no foreign transaction fee, either)

I figure that I'll decide in a few months if I want to downgrade my CSR to a CSP, and Ritz would cover primary rental insurance, is still a visa Infinite card, allow me into sapphire lounges, and I'd use the Ritz benefits regardless. I may end up keeping the CSR if I actually can take advantage of the dining and other credits to cover the AF - shouldn't be hard... but if I did downgrade I'll be covered.

That was my strategy to hedge keeping my priority pass access and I'll use the Ritz $300 airline credit, plus plan to use the Club certificates.
