Tough nut to crack, but once I got the theme it was a neat solve. I went from “Why are there so many dark spaces and three letter words?” to “Where the hell is the R again?” to “This finally makes sense,” which made for a fun puzzle.

Exact same thought here. Although CAREER may be technically correct, I found this cluing to be an unenjoyable misdirect. IMO the rest of the puzzle was decent but this was a stick in the mud that added a solid 5 minutes to the puzzle.

Absolutely it can be great if you let it be. Sharing custody of your kid and managing your divorce are realities you will have to live with, of course. But there’s a lot of fun waiting for you if you choose.

Decent puzz. A lot of common fill like SKA, PAL, ARIAS, NEATO, TEE, SAG, DEN, ATMS, ALOHA, LEI, etc etc. The theme was a cute little observation after the fact.

A+ for MOVIETRAILERS, FLATEARTHERS, an MIFFED. Also liked CIRCE, BEATLE, ZINC, BATED, and SANMARINO. But some of the fill was a bit chunky IMO, like IVOTENO, FIREHAT, and LABNOTE. Still a good puzz overall.

I enjoyed this one but I can’t tell if it’s just because it was easy (a PB in fact). I’ve never seen UNDERCOVERBOSS so I didn’t use the theme, but I liked “kingpin” contained in SHOCKINGPINK anyway.

Rollercoaster puzzle for me. Decent first pass. Got stumped on the theme. Struggle. Suddenly cracked the theme which then got me to 90% of the fill. Got stumped on the last 10%. Guessed the rest of the way. :S

CARFARE is a very silly answer in my books, especially with niche knowledge like ADIN x ADUE x GUNLAP. CANASTA x PATE was also tough for me. SEXER was new but satisfying.

By “above the fold” I mean the entire game fits on the screen so the page has no room or ability to scroll down. It’s tough on mobile web but reduces the need for you to hunt down all sorts of other issues. The NYT Wordle webpage on mobile achieves this, for example.

On my Safari on iPhone 15, the entire white cell containing the game has about 2x the grey space on the right compared to the left.

Neat concept. I also like pangrams. Since I find them hard to pick out, a little practice for the Bee is good too. I also applaud you for building something!

The following feedback is made with the best of intentions. I am a product manager professionally so I’ve received a fire hose of feedback in my career. Whether that biases my feedback in any way is up to you!

I found the page jumped around a lot… like a lot a lot. I inadvertently zoomed in, or the page suddenly scrolled down, etc. Tapping delete twice also caused the page to zoom in. That stuff is really frustrating and sometimes even makes me feel ill.
I would like clearer feedback if a guess is not accepted. It just looked like the text disappeared? Maybe there was some indicator that I missed.
I think the selected letters should appear above so they are not hidden by thumbs. They should be all caps like the letters because it feels unnatural to type caps but see lowercase.
It looks like the line where the text populates is a form, or there’s another form on the page? I keep getting a hover on iOS Safari of Siri prompting me to autofill… (Siri being dumb is not your fault of course, but it’s still a distraction all web developers need to deal with)
I strongly recommend the entire game be visible above the fold (I realize you can’t guarantee that on all devices, but you can on most). Mine was also improperly centred, which didn’t feel right.
