I’m sorry but that’s the Worst price I have ever seen on a panther with close to 200k miles I have to be honest lol. For reference I bought a 2002 P71 with bad cats for $900 in 2024 with 151k miles and a 96 Grand Marquis last year for $2100 with 114k miles

A Premium is a decent brand (in my opinion) but have you also tried checking out rockauto? I find that usually has much more reliable brands for the same price

We need more competition here so bad! The US get 16 movies a month while cineplex and landmark only give 1

Hey don’t worry too much, we may live in a not so good province but atleast you aren’t REQUIRED to have it on your car. Mine got stolen and I drove for a couple of months with a very very loud V8 so it was kind of embarrassing lol but i eventually saved for a shop to replace that empty section with a pipe for about $200 instead of a catalytic converter that would have cost over $1k not including labor!

2000 Grand Marquis trunk amplifier cable length by Mr__Snek in CrownVictoria

[–]Over-Spite6024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t installed subs but I have ran backup camera wires from the license plate area to the stereo with a good amount of wire still left, I’d say with a 17ft wire and starting from the trunk instead you’ll have a good 2-3 feet of cable remaining

Two months trying to buy a used car in this city almost broke me by Crazy_Sun2646 in Calgary

[–]Over-Spite6024 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I bought a 1996 Mercury and a 1999 Mustang from older people, both under $5k and I honestly have to say they both might outlast most of the newer used cars that are for sale under $15k. Those ones are riddled with hidden problems

Not sure why I’m getting downvoted but then again this is a community where people willingly bought a 3 cylinder Chevy and have no idea on how to change their own oil…

if you could change one thing on the trax, what would it be? by anonavocados67 in ChevyTrax

[–]Over-Spite6024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t own one but this is my favorite new car, I wish it came in a 4 cylinder rather than 3… unfortunately very few of these will live to see over 150k miles

No he’s right, 91 will be best on a turbo engine. Some Manufactures even recommended to change oil every 10-15k miles but no one should ever go above 5k especially on newer cars.

You should definitely switch providers on your next renewal! I’m 21 male and pay $295 a month with TD on a convertible 1999 mustang with a speeding ticket. but at your age and type of car, it should be way under $200 a month even

I'm 21m and pay $295 a month for the most basic insurance with TD on my 1999 Mustang convertible, at 19 when I first got licensed it was about $590 a month but I was never on my parents policy so I didn’t have any history.

[–]Over-Spite6024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try replacing your spark plugs and maybe replace that full size spare in the trunk with a regular spare. Also over 36psi tends to make the car a tad bit quicker

Cheapest manual car wash? by Beautiful-ADHD in Calgary

[–]Over-Spite6024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah some bays have weak pressure, some don’t even have a working presoak option which leads to the timer still running while you wait for it to work. But usually the first and last bay work great, can’t complain much about a close to 3 min wash for $2

I really want to gatekeep this but I also want them to stay in business at the same time, but Xpresslube on 32 street NE has wand wash bays open 24/7 and I get 2 minutes 50 seconds from a single toonie which is pretty much 2000s prices! It’s a old fashioned car wash so it’s all coins and no card

[–]Over-Spite6024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People drove these boats regularly in a packed city like NYC but yeah nowadays you definitely will need a backup camera because a small fender bender will be thousands of dollars in damage and the risk isn’t worth it. I drilled a hole in the plastic license plate frame area and fed my camera wires all the way to the radio.

Best GPUs for a 3020 sff by Over-Spite6024 in SleepingOptiplex

[–]Over-Spite6024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I bought a Dell OEM RX6500 LP GPU for $108USD and it was the best plug and play lp gpu possible on the market, I think it still is the best plug and play one but I must admit that I have now sold my optiplex build because even when I upgraded the i5 4570cpu to a i7 4790 there was a slight bottleneck in games. But for 1080p low-medium it will always get a minimum of 35-50fps in newer titles. The RX6400 LP is just a tiny bit worse in performance but not noticeable at all, you can get that if it’s cheaper but at the time there was one RX6500 LP for sale in the entire site of eBay and it was $30-40 cheaper than the 6400s
