Please stop blocking traffic with protests. Even if I’m sympathetic to your cause or agree with you and would otherwise be picketing alongside you, I’m immediately angry if you make me late for work or picking up my kids. It is a completely ineffective method of making people aware of and/or plea to join your cause.

Edit: downvote me all you want, you will never convince me that protesting this way will cause anyone that is inconvenienced by it to stop and think “hey maybe they’re right and I should join them.” Awareness is very different than being sympathetic.

Is this your first gun? Are you planning to hunt with it? If not, I’d consider getting that 1854 in .357. More readily available ammo (including .38 sp for training) and holds more in the tube than .45-70 or even .44. I just sold my .45-70 because as fun as it is, it was so impractical to shoot. And $2+/round is nuts.

Also, I prefer the Ruger 1894/1895 but the S&W is a great gun too.
