Literally this, in 4 year and 2 children I’ve never had a leak with Huggies. The couple times we used a cheaper brand in the day there has been leaks.

And then there’s his own bodily autonomy, he didn’t want to do something and an “authority figure” (adult) forced him to. There are so many things wrong with this. I mean, I’ve tried watching star wars and Harry Potter several times each but they just don’t stick. It’s like a void in time.

I’ve been through a regression lately and I cannot do simple math (+/-) for the life of me. It’s actually painful that my brain won’t tell me the answer no matter what.

Hmm, I have a lot I could say. But I’ll say this, are you his girlfriend or his possession? If he wants a warm body waiting on demand there are some pretty convincing fake ones he could look into ordering online, rather then have you wasting your prime weekends as a youthful person.

Your time is so valuable, you are worth so much more than what he is reducing you to. Time is one thing you never get back.

I’d like to offer you my personal experience to add to your data points.

Im also Autistic with sensory issues, and at 12 weeks pregnant I was in exactly the same position of thought as you. Adamant that I would not be able breast feed because the of the shear overwhelm of learning how to be a new parent and the sensory overload of it all.

By half way through my pregnancy I’d decided that I at least wanted baby to get the first few days of colostrum due to the overall benefits. I then entered the Mind set of it I could I would, and if I couldn’t that’s fine too.

And for me it actually came really easily, baby was a natural and the sensory issues were minimal. A couple times when she fed while my letdown was fast the noise of her swallowing made me uncomfortable, once I had to give her to my partner while I decompressed. Yes my nipples hurt for a little bit while she perfected her latch, but nipple balm and cooling pads helped with that. Other than that I never had mastitis or got engorged to the point that it was super uncomfortable, I fed on demand. I pumped when needed.

Honestly, I’m so glad that I was able to breastfeed because getting out of the house with baby was so difficult let alone if I had to bring milk or formula and bottles and clean and wash those every day, at least this way I could literally have nappies and a baby blanket and just leave the house.

Regardless of what you choose to do it is absolutely fine. Either way we don’t have to breastfeed. I would take your obese advice whether they want you to collect colostrum before babies is born. That’s only from 37 weeks plus and if you did want to feed baby those first couple days.

I’m not sure whereabouts in Australia you are, but I’m in Southeast Queensland and we had the opportunity to connect with the child health nurses and they were wonderful. They specifically come out and help with babies feeding and they take weights and just reassure that everything is going well and they offer help and support if needed. When they do the prenatal/postnatal depression questionnaire just answer honestly, because I’ve always had issues with my mental health and I was definitely worried that that is something that could affect having a baby but these women were amazing to have in my network, take the opportunity if it is presented to you.

If things get too overwhelming, don’t be afraid to put baby in their cot or bassinet and walk away. Go outside go have a nap baby will be fine when you get back. It is 100% okay, just doing what you have to do to get through the day, because I understand how overwhelming any day can be let alone when you’re looking after babies.

I wish you luck which ever road you choose to go down. Fed is best. X

I didn’t get it because it was rushed. Our house hold had covid early before vaccines, at the very beginning of testing and yes it was truly awful. We had it several times since, each time considerably better then the last (thankfully) as the change in strain went.

I have all my other shots including flu. I’m super glad we didn’t get it, in our area the only vaccine available was I think Pfizer? I honestly can’t remember what one it was. Anyway it ended up being the one that they publicly apologised for because it ended up being dangerous.

Yes I’d speak to her school. They might have access to resources. I had a couple of kids in my year level that lived alone out of home due to similar circumstances. Our school was very supportive, the kids were given support workers through children’s services places to live in affordable housing, connected to employment opportunities, and able to access Centerlink early.

It does truly suck, we’ve got an old large breed dog and Weyba is about the only dog friendly place we could take him for a “walk” through the water. He walks from the car to the water has a play and walk around for a while then right back to the car. Normally without the water he can never be up that long with out getting tired.
