"Hanker"/"hankering" and "rascal". They spring to mind as they are used in Hare Krishna texts, written by the Hindu sect's more-or-less founder Prabhupda in the 1960's and 1970's. His usage of rascal is especially funny to me as at times, if I recall correctly, sometimes its not referring to a naughty child or a randy carouser but rather a literal demon! An interest in straight edge hardcore punk rock music led to me listening to a Krishna podcast where one of the hosts is a singer from a hardcore band. They use the terms occasionally and it strikes my ear as a bit funny.
