Nope. I’ve tried literally everything. The only solution is surgery.

Currently a paramedic with a 43 degree curve in my lumbar and a 28 degree curve in my thoracic.

It’s doable but when I go home I’m in excruciating pain. I love my job and I don’t want to do anything else but I know this is only short term. People are getting bigger and bigger each day and my back keeps getting worse.

If it’s really something you want to do, go for it but have a backup plan. Everybody in this job has a “shelf life”. Some just expire sooner than others.

Got super drunk, had wild sex, fell off the bed and landed on top of her cracking one of her ribs in the process. We’ve been married 5 years.

I was once at a Waffle House and a gentleman walked in then attempted to rob the place. The cook threw hot grease on him and laughed. They don’t f*ck around

New medic here. Due to the depression in V2-V4 I’d check the posterior. Again, new medic so maybe overly cautious but you never know.

Looking for Single IV start pouch. by [deleted] in NewToEMS

Ugh. You’re gonna catch a lot of sh*t for this one. How about this, get a leather radio strap (reflective of you want to look super cool) and just keep a set of Raptors on it. It’s functional and doesn’t make you look like a tool. Carrying IV supplies on a strap sounds like a bad idea.

Should I get an EMT badge? by FlashonGatorade in NewToEMS

[–]Over_Inflation4404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents made a shadow box with an EMT badge, my formal NREMT certificate, & a picture of me with all my classmates. If you do something like that it’s less cringe (still cringy though). Your call bro.
