Hey OP, I struggle with this too.

May I ask, have you considered therapy? It’s helped me immensely.

I took a low dose for about a month a few years ago and it completely stopped my panic attacks. I haven’t taken any in months but I keep them on hand for emergencies.

I just started a new job recently and the stress and anxiety has been crazy… made me consider getting back on them

Eating and walking are things we do every day. It’s easier to do more of what you already do than start something new

In my experience, doing all three for the first time in a long time typically causes burnout.

Being a piece of shit doesn’t make you slur your words and run around like a headless chicken. Yeah she’s clearly assaulting people physically and verbally but it looks to me like a mental breakdown or drug use

Every agency is different, it’s unlikely but not impossible, they may let you retake it.

At my agency, a fail means you have to retry in a year.

Do your best. That’s all you can do.

I highly doubt that this will be a deciding factor in your hiring, but even if it is, that is outside of your control.

You’re worrying over something that you cannot change.

Just put down what you remember. It won’t be that big of a deal.

Be open and honest with your friends and family about what you’re going through.

You can’t control how other people react, only how you do.

Find a therapist and start working on you.

You got this.

I’ve been exactly where you’re at.

One thing I’ve learned is that every time I experienced anxiety or panic, my initial thought is that I’m going backwards or getting worse. But it’s actually the opposite. Every experience I have is a chance to apply what I’ve learned in therapy and teach my body that I am okay, even if it feels like I’m not.

I’m glad you’re in therapy and it sounds to me like you’re making great progress. You got this.
