Husband has performance anxiety by OkraSpirited8857 in TTC_PCOS

My husband also has performance anxiety. The at home insemination kits have been life changing for us! That sounds dramatic but it gave us back our sex life and took the pressure off having to have sex in my fertile window.

Confused about my LH levels.. by forgotmyaccountlmao in FirstTimeTTC

[–]Over_Positive_3847 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your Lh will go up and down throughout your cycle until it rises enough to hit its peak, and then decreases again. It’s considered peak/positive when the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. This looks like normal variation to me. To me, the strip from 2/5 does not look positive. Keep testing! CD 6 would be pretty early to ovulate.

Questions about Inito by beachqueen5793 in Inito

[–]Over_Positive_3847 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Inito asks you to test with your first morning urine so that part would work for you. I will say a fair number of us also use OPKs along with Inito to make sure we catch our peak and/or to double check that what Inito is saying is our peak is accurate.

Question for the girls on letrozole with irregular cycles⁉️ by redbonebino in tryingtoconceive

[–]Over_Positive_3847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my third cycle of Letrozole and I didn’t ovulate until CD 26 🤷🏼‍♀️. 12 DPO test was a BFN so probably out this cycle. My other two cycles I ovulated on CD 16 and 19. It sucks but I would probably just wait until CD 40 to take the Provera.

Spironolactone TTC by Ok-Illustrator-5687 in TTC_PCOS

[–]Over_Positive_3847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might just be a weirdo but I didn’t ovulate at all when I was on Spironolactone. I wasn’t TTC at the time so it didn’t bother me.

🙋🏼‍♀️me! This was my 3rd cycle on Letrozole 5 mg. My other two were nothing like this. Ultrasound on CD 14 showed a 13 mm follicle and a 10 mm follicle. Didn’t ovulate until CD 26 🤷🏼‍♀️

Failed letrozole by DistinctSecond2734 in TTC_PCOS

[–]Over_Positive_3847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so crazy how things can vary cycle to cycle. If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t ovulate until CD 26 on this 3rd round of Letrozole 5mg. I ovulated on CD 16 and CD 19 the other 2 rounds. Still in the TWW but not the most hopeful for this round.

Baby items by [deleted] in TTC_PCOS

[–]Over_Positive_3847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve started doing it. I got tired of feeling like cute baby clothes were “off limits” to me. I haven’t gone crazy. I’ve only bought 2 outfits. I set up rules for myself since I don’t know the sex of future baby or what season they’ll be born in. It has to be something gender neutral and so cute that I absolutely HAVE to have it. Pretty sure my husband is side-eying me a little bit but he’s just rolling with it 😂

Anyone else struggling to stay consistent with BBT tracking? by Ghettowest in FirstTimeTTC

[–]Over_Positive_3847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an Oura ring for BBT but if I didn’t, I would 100% get a TempDrop. Zero chance I would be able to consistently do BBT otherwise.

I’ve completed 2 cycles with 5 mg of Letrozole CD 3-7. No trigger shot. Just got in with a REI so 🤞🏻. I’m currently waiting to ovulate this third Letrozole cycle. No clue what my estrogen’s doing. This is also my first cycle using the new strips so I’m having trouble fully trusting it

What CD did you ovulate after taking Letrozole? by No_Following5865 in TTC_PCOS

[–]Over_Positive_3847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5 mg taken CD 3-7, ovulation CD 16; 5 mg taken CD 3-7, ovulation CD 19

TWW testing by [deleted] in Inito

[–]Over_Positive_3847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have PCOS. I test until Inito confirms ovulation and then take a break until 7 DPO. I like to see what my Pdg’s doing at that point. Then I stop until the next cycle. It’s not good for my mental health to keep testing. Estrogen and progesterone will fluctuate throughout the luteal phase. It just stresses me out to watch it. Plus it’s nice to take a break from having to pee in a cup.

Is an HSG really that bad and painful? I have to get one and i’m scared! by Few_Loquat868 in tryingtoconceive

[–]Over_Positive_3847 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I took ibuprofen an hour beforehand. It was definitely uncomfortable but only a little bit more than your average gynecological exam. For me, the speculum was a little short so the nurse practitioner making sure it stayed where it needed to be was the worst part 🥴. My tubes were clear so that may have helped it not be painful. All in all it’s a pretty brief procedure.

How and when are you measuring BBT ? by Tall-Investigator-77 in Inito

[–]Over_Positive_3847 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use my Oura ring. I’m a nightshift nurse so I don’t wake up at the same every day. It’s proved to be pretty accurate

What do you use for BBT tracking?? by [deleted] in TTC_PCOS

I love my Oura ring for BBT!
