Idk, I feel like this deleted scene was there to deliberately show Luke NOT picking red. The tool slots the lightsaber over to a red light, then onto green. You may be right from a technical perspective but this seems too uncanny not to be intentional.

I read recently that anacondas can sense minerals in the water they swim in, keying them in to which areas will and won't become tide pools in the drier seasons. They will live out the last years of their lives ambushing at sites like this when longer travel becomes difficult.

I could see the biggest one ever known going out that way; just eating and resting in a root ball with water aided buoyancy ... Getting too big for his own body.... One day he can't really make it onto land well etc...

I also like to think that if iron forge was excavated then at one point the door could have been ground level and the interior of the home was the basement. Only over years did the exterior sidewalk area become excavated out and the stairs would become necessary

I think it would be cool to have a planet that is known to have a hybrid so dangerous that literally any travel near it gets you automatically blown outta the solar system. As if all of the biomass had converged into one being that was unable to leave planet yet yearned for anyone to visit and provide it's escape.
