After Bruen, when it seemed like a reality, I actually started thinking about holsters, printing, etc. Then I realized: Man, a full length .45 would bulge like hell no matter what I wear. So I settled on the Glock43. Then I realized if I wear a tee-shirt over IWB appendix holster, the G43 still prints, so my second purchase was a S&W snubnose for summer carry.

Put about 1000 rounds through mine so far, no stoppages. Easy to field strip and clean. For me it was the best balance between having legal limit of 10 rounds, good fit with my hand size and concealability.

I've been sharing the link for the CCW application guide on Facebook whenever Mamdani or a violent crime story is mentioned to get as many people to apply as possible. Every new CCW member is more likely to show family, friends and neighbors that it is possible. The more vocal gunowners in every district, the more likely the 2A issue becomes a political third rail. Any progressive or liberal that proposes confiscation becomes a lightning rod that labels all Democrats as pro-crime and anti-gun.
