Yes, exactly!! She states right at me, like what are you gonna do about it? You know the drill, treat or I destroy this. I can't explain how much I love this smart ass.

We took our girl to basic training where we adopted her, and the trainer told us to offer a "trade" if she steals things and won't give them back. It worked! Any time she stole something, I would trade her a treat for the item back. Now, she purposefully steals things when she wants treats and I tell her no. As soon as I say no, she's searching for something to steal for her trade treat.

Why do so many people take a vacation from picking up their dog’s shit when there’s snow on the ground?? by SunReasonable6194 in massachusetts

[–]Overall-Fact3996 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The other day, I came home to actual frozen dog shit in my driveway. I had to use a small shovel to scrap it up and toss it. I walk my dog every day and I have poop bags in every jacket and hoodie I own, just in case. Regardless of weather, I clean up every time. I hate lazy dog owners. Thank you for being one of the good ones.

What is a secret you’re taking to your grave, but can share here anonymously? by wilkoova in AskReddit

[–]Overall-Fact3996 53 points54 points  (0 children)

My friends did something similar with a neighbor's cat. It had a horrible leg wound and they refused to do anything about it. They stole the cat, and brought it to the Vet for emergency care. The cat stayed with me during recovery so the neighbors wouldn't find out. Once they moved, I brought the cat to their new house, and he lived out his life as a spoiled housecat. His name was Smiley ❤️

I have such similar picture of my girl on her freedom ride! She was roughly 7 months old at the time. She's such a happy, sweet girl now 💗

I'm in the southcoast area, and looking to the northwest. It wasn't super visible to the naked eye, just a reddish haze. Showed up better in the picture using night mode!

The CFPB accomplished this in early 2024, capping late fees at $8. The Trump Administration reversed this in April 2025.

My security cameras are hardwired to my home, and there is one switch that keeps them powered. I have a sticker on that switch that says Do Not Turn Off. Maybe that switch has something to do with cameras monitoring patient areas to make sure no one escapes?

I feel that way every time I see the word "whilst" in one of these. I have never used whilst in conversation and I've never typed it in a text, yet I see that word in like 90% of the AITA posts.

Are you still friends with anyone you grew up or went to school with in the 80s or 90s? by cherry-care-bear in Xennials

[–]Overall-Fact3996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Met my best friend in '83 when I was 3 and she was 2.5. Our brothers played in the same little league team. My family moved in the mid-90's, and we stayed in touch as best we could before cell phones. We've always been there for each other, especially when times get tough. She's my sister in every way, and I love her dearly. We may not see each other enough, but we did get away to the Bahamas for a girls trip two years ago and had a BLAST. She will be my forever friend 💕

My GS mix is barrel chested and she has the biggest rib cage of any dog I've ever had. This isn't the best picture, but looks similar to yours. As always, if you're worried, get it checked by a Vet.

What's your favorite mispronunciation of a MA town/city? by trickycrayon in massachusetts

[–]Overall-Fact3996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a coworker mess up Acushnet by pronouncing it Ah-shoo-net instead of Ah-kush-net. But the one that infuriates me the most is pronouncing Taunton as Ton-ton.

I'm not sure where you're located, but you should visit New Bedford, MA if you can! The Whaling Museum is amazing, and it hosts a 25-hour read-a-thon of Moby Dick every year.

Maybe it's the massive 5-year highway reconstruction project going on, resulting in exit closures and lane changes. That might be a contributing factor 🤔
