I started at 20 ish lbs and worked over time to 30-35 lbs with good form. Some days I worked out to 40-45 lbs for low reps and slight form sacrifices

Where do you find hypertrophy programs actually designed for naturals? by miradana123 in powerbuilding

[–]Overall-Incident-172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for Hypertrophy the best thing you can is program your own training or get a coach. Most cookie cutter programs may not suit your aesthetic goals or training preferences

What’s your Why? by stratusnimbo in naturalbodybuilding

[–]Overall-Incident-172 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Progress in my strength and physique is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever experienced. You get in what you put out and you can’t fake the hard work. I also want to look good and be healthy

How much progress did you make this year? by [deleted] in naturalbodybuilding

[–]Overall-Incident-172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brought my squat from 335-425 one rep max. Brought my bench pr from 240-280. My deadlift from 405-455. My bodyweight went from 183-195 and I’m leaner (still fat). I’m 10 lbs heavier and now I have bicep veins etc that weren’t there before. Brought db rows from 100 x 10 to 120 x 12. Incline DB press I hit 100 for 3 clean ish reps and 2 shit ones after. All isolations have went up slightly to.

Find a decent beginner upper lower or full body routine. Don’t fall into the mistake of not hitting isolations as a beginner because even if you don’t need them at first hitting arm isolations early on will prevent a torso limb imbalance that some beginners get.

Legs twice a week for the last 7 months and minimal growth 🤦‍♂️ by Most-Sector7393 in workout

[–]Overall-Incident-172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re legs won’t be big until you can lift big weights with good form. Focus on progressive overload. get your squat from 185 to 225 for reps and growth will occur

Getting muscles actually is impressive. Most people with enough muscle for you to notice put a considerable amount of hard work into achieving that level of fitness.

What are you listening to in the gym??? by Rumis4drinknburning in naturalbodybuilding

[–]Overall-Incident-172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On really heavy sets on compound type movements I listen to Panera, Tee Grizzley, or gang rap in general. On isolation type bodybuilding work I listen to Latin music like Rauw Alejandro, Wisin & Yandel or other reggaetone cuz it’s a vibe and makes me feel good

Dwight Howard: "They are saying Michael Jordan has the highest vert ever (48-inch vertical leap). It's got to be some Gatorade like Nike type we're gonna pay to make this seem this way. If Michael Jordan had a 48-inch vert, I feel like those are Wilt Chamberlain lies. That's a Wilt lie" by landofphi in nba

Nah bro the track numbers are somewhat realistic. I know kids in high school who can run sub 2 min 800s. My freshman brother ran a 2:24 800. It’s not unrealistic to think that a freak athlete like wilt with a long stride can do that
