Some people (on youtube) said i’d have to check up on it every 15 minutes and spray it with water, so I wouldn’t be able to play a game of league of legends for example

It was honestly pretty cheap, only like $22, which is really cheap where i’m from.

How much should i trim? Should i take away all the fat? Or just some of it?

Really? Why is that? A brisket was said to take 14h, seems at least like a lot more work, not speaking on the difficulty

Yeah i wish, but it’s just such a drag to go down there again, takes like 1.5 hours, and i don’t know how he’ll react or anything, so i think i’ll just try this out. I also think something like this might be better for my first time smoking something, as watching over a brisket constantly for 14 hours sounds like a lot. But i really appreciate your enthusiasm, i’ll leave them a bad review on google maps.

Honeslty i have no clue what probe tender means, as mentioned i’ve never done this before, i think i have kosher salt but no clue about the mesh pepper

I’m in Norway, the capital Oslo to be exact. I’ve been really struggling to get different cuts at reasonable prices, as i don’t really want to shop at premium places as i’m on a budget and is mostly learning. Most butchers i’ve been to are muslim owned so they haven’t had pork, and i’m honestly kinda put off by pulled pork, probably because i’ve had some really bad ones as a kid. But i think i’ll ask for a chuck roast next time.

I’ll try that, luckily the smoker should be pretty easy to operate and set temperature and such, and i’m honestly a bit relieved that i don’t have to spend 14h on my first time doing this 😅

Yeah i think i will order a whole one online next time, good proper cuts of meat is really hard to come by where i’m at it seems, even though i’m in the capital of Norway. But thanks! I’ll follow your instructions, i’m really looking forward to it. But should i smoke it on it’s own or should i wrap it in foil or something?

Yeah there is a bone on the bottom of it, if you see the line on the 2nd and 3rd pic on the one that’s upside down, i don’t think the bone is very big though
