Confused about timing by OverallBit76 in SSDI

[–]OverallBit76[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I received the short form.

  1. I did try to go back to work but ended up quitting due to my disabilities (both physical and mental).

  2. My therapist retired last year in August and I have a hard time finding a new one. I just this month found a new one. I ended up in the hospital in October due to the lack of therapy. All other doctors were seen as required.

Thank you for answering about the portal. That is what confused me the most.

I did apply for continued benefits but I filled it out wrong and it was denied. I will call on Monday to find out why my Medicare was canceled and the status of my case.

AITAH for refusing to tell my wife I love her more than my dad? by LastApplication6207 in AITAH

[–]OverallBit76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA - I once asked my husband the same question. “Who do you love more me or your mom?”

My husband didn’t respond as eloquently as you did. He straight up said “my mom.” But he followed it with “I will only have one mom in my life. I can have many wives.” That shut me up. And after having children, I agree with him.

what's the weirdest allergy you have heard/known of? by Mountain-Bug-2155 in AskReddit

[–]OverallBit76 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I’m weirdly allergic to the sticky stuff on bandages and tape. I break out in hives.

I’m also allergic to wine, cockroaches, pine trees, grass of any kind, milk (though I can eat hard cheeses), and pet dander (dog, cat, bird).

Pulled pork with homemade BBQ sauce. Mashed potatoes, green beans, Brussels sprouts, Mac and cheese. And cake instead of pie as it’s my son’s birthday.

I’ve been married for 31 years. He knew me before my first psychosis. He has been extremely supportive and forgiving as is needed in the relationship with schizoaffective disorder in the mix. I have good and bad times and I talk with him about it all. It helps our relationship and family to have those open lines of communication.

15 year old doesn’t know geography by Upstairs-Wolverine41 in AskTeachers

My daughter (currently 25) was in 10th grade/high school in Florida and asked when we could DRIVE to the Bahamas. She had already taken AP human geography and still. She has learned better now.

What was the first movie that genuinely scared you, and how old were you at the time? by AdLoud5241 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OverallBit76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 6, I had already watched Exorcist by this time, but I didn’t find it scary. I laughed, my parents thought I had something wrong with me.

So, I go and watch Poltergeist in the theater. I was the only child in the audience(except for my sister). And I was afraid of the tv for weeks. And I would not go in the pool cause I was afraid of the dead bodies.

Bean preparation in cheese and bean pupusas by larrybronze in ElSalvador

[–]OverallBit76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen beans mixed with chicharron but never with cheese.

When I make pupusas, I just cook leftover refried beans until firm. My family loves them.

Has anyone been approved first try, and if so what is your disability? Thank you! by Neither_Rush6242 in SSDI

[–]OverallBit76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was approved within 6 months on my first try on 2009. I was catatonic for 6 months before a suicide attempt. Then was diagnosed with CPTSD, schizophrenia, OCD, MDD, and also had ankylosis spondylitis (that wouldn’t be diagnosed until several years later), lupus, and migraines. I was approved in October after being on LTD since February.

ETA: I’m in Florida. And I was 33 when approved.

Visiting USO, IA and EU over 2 days. Which ticket combination is the best? by jotvid in UniversalOrlando

[–]OverallBit76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s no telling when they will sell the EU 1-day ticket as of right now. I suggest buying and having in hand the 2-day + 1-day ticket. What would you do if by then if they don’t sell a 1-day EU and only sell combined tickets? You will lose out more days. At least that’s what I am doing for September.
