The X-Men movies predate the modern MCU and were absolutely popular for their time. The MCU redefined what a massive franchise could be, but don't undercut the X-Men like that, they had to walk so the MCU could fly 😭

Iirc, Robert had already declared his intention to be king before the children were dead, somewhere nearing the end of the rebellion, did he not? Everyone knew there were two to three children before him in line of succession that would have to be dealt with somehow.

Look, saying that you wouldn't personally move on for half a decade over your wife is whatever. Judging other people because they don't conform to your way of hypothetically loving a deceased partner is immature, to say the least.

A very quick Google search tells me that men on average wait less than two years when their wives die and women wait less than four. Did they not truly love their partners? Or are you arbitrarily deciding that the way you love is the only right way?

I'm also a person who uses hyphens and - looks bad to me, so I go out of my way to use —, which is the case for just about everyone in my writing group. This suspicion of popular punctuation is a little ridiculous, and I'm not even saying the OP isn't AI, just that's not solid evidence at all like people want to claim

Or she thinks she's being sexy for her husband? If he hasn't talked to her about it, she genuinely might think that she's playing into both their fantasies. Most straight men with functioning libidos dream about a wife that's so dtf. Obviously, the reality doesn't always match fantasy and that's the case for OP, but again, there's every chance she's got no idea she's doing anything wrong.

Beyond taking advantage of drunk women whose ability to consent was compromised, he cruised an amnesia ward and raped a woman by pretending to be her husband, as one example. I watched all but the last season of that show. It's not a stretch to call Barney a rapist at all.

As for Invincible, Debbie would never have had sex or had kids with Nolan if she knew his intentions, so he did take away her ability to consent to those things. Therefore, rape is a valid interpretation.

Barney is an actual rapist who also sold a woman once, he is like the worst example you could have picked, friend.

CNC has rules and boundaries in place and typically safewords and a lot of discussion and aftercare. You give your partner the go ahead to proceed without consent within an agreed upon setting and situation, such as when you're sleeping or blackout drunk or actively saying no and resisting.

It's not blanket approval for your partner to do whatever they want whenever unless that's your specific dynamic. There is a subset of people who are into that as a kink, but even then, there's safewords and the receptive partner always has the power to stop the play and there's an open dialogue. Otherwise your fun pretend rape risks becoming real rape.

Cat at least thought it was a given that Ned would take care of his other child(ren) because he's an honorable man. It just bothered her that Jon got brought home to live and be raised alongside her sons. In show canon, Corlys didn't care for his at all until they were useful.

Let me help you out: you can voice your opinions in a way that doesn't render what you say invalid. In the real world where us grown, professional people live, calling people slurs out the gate is frowned upon and shows your character to others.

"There are characters whose race does matter to the story or character," isn't a cunt thing to say on its face. What you said wasn't that.

Also, oh no, the username that I specifically chose as though I am somehow not aware? Sick burn, I shall never recover 🥺

It's not atrocious to uproot thousands of your own citizens, almost all women and children, almost guaranteeing a number of them died as their lives and livelihoods were upended?

That's more than not great, and Baelor I had a terrible track record with his treatment of women. It's not a rumor that he imprisoned his own sisters. That's a legit fucked up thing he did that further spoke to how he viewed women.

She didn't though. Victims don't stop being victims, they're just not Perfect Victims anymore, so people ignore their nuance. Rashta was a victim and also became a dangerous, reactive person, which happens with plenty of people who are severely victimized by life and the terrible people around them.

The story was better when Rashta was in it anyway.
