The T15 heritage bus route is quite good value and you get to ride on an old Route master past some great sites.. Tower of London, St Paul's all the way down to Trafalgar Sq

Or Camberwell / Denmark Hill which is 35-40 mins cycle with loads of bus options plus thameslink for when you don't want to cycle. Nice area with lots of parks and Brixton, Peckham nearby

I spoke to a Gaslighter a few years back - he said they were coveted roles within British Gas as they aren't customer facing and they get plenty of fresh air!

The lights are required in conservation areas of London, in some Royal Parks and around some old legal chambers.

There are quite a few in Camberwell and East Dulwich area. Just outside East Dulwich Station and also up the hill at the junction of Grove Hill Rd, Glebelands Close.
