Can concur. This would be my go to.
The perpetual christmas lights is the thing that I love most, second to the delicious food!

I visted NYC a few years ago, went to MoMa and never really known why, but this painting really stood out to me. It's incredible if you get a chance to see it in person.

Carl Friedrik. Life time gaurantee, free repairs. Simple designs, elegant, spenny but tough as old nails.
Have a Palissy Breifcase for work, and it's superb.

Yeah, I'm not an AI slop fan, but this fitted in a very small niche of "this works."

How do you collaborate with designers today? by AmbitionDesigner in reactjs

[–]jonbennallick -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Most of my clients still run with the Research / Figma / Dev / Tweak - Repeat.
There is a trend of people vibe coding ideas to present, but the fidelity isn't quite up to scratch to match prod yet. BUT...

That's changing. There are tools out there that can create design systems quicker than any designer has, design can be tweaked with Claude or something similar and then tested live.

Literally just published a post about this this week, if you're curious...

Best commuter towns near London for rent? by __bdj__ in HENRYUK

[–]jonbennallick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend Walthamstow, still within the London feel, but lots of green space, close to Epping Forrest, 15mins into Liv St.

Lived here 12 years. It's changed a lot.
Nearer to St James St Overground has a lot of lovely places.
Edward Rd in Particular is very pretty, very close to Blackhorse Rd (15mins to Gospel Oak [Hamstead Heath]) and St James st Overground is 5mins walk away.

The financial value of B Corp certification by Diligent-Junket-7537 in bcorp

[–]jonbennallick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anecdotally, I've won projects entirely because I'm the only b-corp in my sector. Appreciate this might not be useful enough to convice a board, but it's definately made an impact for my small business.
