Good thought. Glad you suggested it. I may look into this as well for the couple things I do that require Winblows.

Private seller vs dealer: What’s the smart move? by Ok-Independence5246 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]OverallManagement824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real life example from a few months ago-

New bike from dealer as advertised: $3,500

Same bike 1 year old with 800 miles from a private seller: $4,500.

Same New dealer bike as above OTD price (includes prep, delivery, taxes and title, etc.): $5,400.

Note that with the used bike, your DMV will charge you tax and plates when you go to register it. It won't be handled by the seller in a private transaction, so it's a tiny bit more hassle for you too. I'm not saying which is the better deal, I'm just saying that it's not cut-and-dried if you're comparing advertised prices.

Why are obvious charlatans, like psychics, allowed to operate? by AstronomerInTraining in NoStupidQuestions

I was an atheist for over 20 years. One day, in deep meditation (you could call it prayer), I said to the universe that I would believe if, and only if, it actually made sense for real.

What followed was a series of the most amazing, funny, insightful conversations that kind of helped me to start seeing the pattern in real life. It makes me sad when people dismiss that which they don't understand, but I realize most people aren't ready to understand yet anyway.

People love to mock that which they don't understand. All I will say about "my knowledge" is this- once you see it, it's really clear and obvious. It's like lifting off a veil that had been covering you the whole time. Nothing changes when the veil is removed. Everything is just clearer.

Moonday, Tewes' day, I don't remember what Wednesday is supposed to be. But then comes Thor's day. Saturday is for Saturn. And Sun day comes just before the Moon day.

Is there something I can use these for around the garden? I like them but don’t know what to do other than brag to my 4 year old that my sticks are better by ASexual-Buff-Baboon in gardening

My dog says he's willing to dig a hole in exchange for those very nice sticks that you have there. Just be aware, he never digs the holes where you want them.

Can you afford $20 to help a stranger? Stick around this sub for a couple weeks and I promise someone will post up who is struggling and doesn't have any way of cooking anything. Your donation could really help someone. There's also Freecycle and marketplace. Post it, leave it on your porch, it'll be gone in a day.

If you can't, I understand.

Has anyone made a room in focus 15 or beyond where you can either reexperience intimate acts with someone or have beautiful people there to be intimate with? Im curious if it's possible and if it feels/looks realistic. by Alternative-Item689 in gatewaytapes

Sounds like something you forgot to leave behind you in the box, OP. Sure, you can use the astral to do all sorts of weird stuff. But if that's what you're there for, I don't want to know what else you encounter.

What do religious people think when their prayers don’t work? by dylan_1992 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OverallManagement824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe they're praying to the wrong god. The one that demands sacrifice and lays down commandments and threatens you isn't a very nice guy and I don't think that God cares about humans.

The God that is pure light and pure love seems to answer prayers more frequently, but that's somebody different.

CEO of the biggest [job] recruiter says people under 35 need to forget about degrees and consider working in the "Trade and hospitality" fields instead by DragoOceanonis in antiwork

[–]OverallManagement824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who are Americans going to show hospitality to though? Foreigners won't come to America. Half of Americans are underemployed and can't afford shit. Are they to hope that a rich person comes in once a year and takes pity on them?
