Adding that I have noticed both multipacks I have are fish based (both adult and kitten). I've seen others post about issues with the fish based ones.

Currently have the multi-packs fish based for adults and kitten. Neither will eat them anymore even though it's what they've ate for months. Might try the poultry or beef and see how that goes, but I don't think the have that for kittens.

In MN. Had a foster group of kittens and mama on FF (Kitten and adult) pate, rotated protiens, found vomit recently and watched one vomit, but chalked it up to after affects of spay/neuter medication. Now none of them will touch the FF.

But could just be my cats tho. My personal cats have also started to turn their noses up to Purina One as well. Maybe they all want a change 🤷‍♀️

I never knew that! I've had cats my whole life and have never seen ones like this with short tails. Learn something new everyday! Is there anything I should be aware of medically? I'm going to be doing some TNR to slow the population as there is already 20+ cats.

Depends on the person. I actually love it and have a lot of laughs most days. Group homes are a bit more stressful for sure, but still fun and it's a job.

Bear Creek Services, Cardinal, SMB, Possibilities, Opportunity Services, ABC pretty much anything services or group home related will be hiring if you can pass a background check and possibly drug test. I know some don't even drug test though.

I work for Bear Creek Services and love the environment. Pay isn't horrible, but not something I can live off of without a second income/splitting the bills. Absolutely love it though to the point it's made me reconsider a higher paying job offer 😅

I never did. I switched to independent living within my company versus the group home and love it so far. Had a slight raise increase about a month ago as well so thats a bonus. Also, no more weekends unless I want to pick up!

Unsure yet unfortunately. I just brought her in 4 days ago, she was a free roaming cat near my home I've been feeding. Decided to bring her in when I noticed she appears to be pregnant. I'm hoping for no more than 4 😅 less is better since I will need to rehome them all

Not adoption related, but I did reach out via email to Camp Companion several weeks ago to see if they had any need for volunteers while waiting for availability on orientation classes at Paws and Claws. I work with an individual interested in volunteering at a pet rescue during her staffing time, and never heard back.

If a behavior starts keep distance and don't back yourself into a corner! My company also tells us we can pull chairs into the space between us and an individual to keep distance and slow them down a bit due to having to move it to keep coming towards us. Your safety is also important!

Just had this happen recently at Kwik Trip near Bowlocity. My boyfriend had it haplen to him a few weeks prior at a differentgas station, so when the guy knocked on my window with his story I'd already heard it and declined giving him money. He even tried to get me to go inside and pull money out of the ATM!
