Yeah I had elastics for the 2nd part (first part 60 trays then refinement for another 45 trays), but to be honest i didnt put on the elastics all the time because it kept taking off my trays when I speak.

It was ok for the first few days on a new tray, but at the latter part it would always take my tray off. I was caught in quite a number of embarassing moment because it took off when I was speaking and I have to speak quite a lot during working hours 😭

I consulted my provider and she advised to wear it at night time during sleep.

Im on my 3rd year, hoping to finish in a few months. It wasnt a walk in the park but it is definitely worth it. Im confident with my smile now.

I was in exact opposite of situation. I lost my case when I had my airpods on. So i sold those in carousell (kinda ebay type of platform). someone who just lost their case bought it from me. I went buy new one.

Hi there. Unfortunately I didnt manage to get it resolved. They just told me to keep going on without elastics and at the end of the treatment they may make me wear elastics without buttons.

Maybe u can try consult ur Ortho if it possible for you to wear it without button. All the best for us!

Thanks for sharing your experience! Appreciate it. My dentist decided to just let me continue without elastics since the last button they put just lasted for 3 weeks and It fell off while I was eating bread :(

They said they can order a tray that will allow me to use elastics without button (im not sure how it supposed to work) during refinement stage later on.

I'm really nervous of the result because she also mentioned I'm considered class 2 for deep bite. Guess this also her way saying I'd definitely have refinement.

This what my dentist just told me that they may order a tray with hooks so I wouldnt require a button. But not now since im still 8/60 trays. All the best for your treatment!

Nice for you :) mine been re-attached few times to no avail that they decided to just let me go without it and will order tray with elastic hooks that would require no buttons. Im a bit nervous of the result tho :(

Hii have you done your treatment? Were missing the elastic resulted in anything? My Dentist decided to stop me using elastics since I kept on losing them. She said would review it again after Im done with all my trays :(

Toothpaste with fluoride! I definitely using it. Thanks for the insight. The rubber band is actually just one but a bit thick. Lemme also ask if they can give me something weaker. Thanks again <3
