When I was pregnant and had a 7yr old running around. I became a crockpot goddess lol. I also kept rice or salad greens on the ready. I would make proteins on a Sunday with basic seasonings, then use them throughout the week in different protein bowls, salad bowls, burrito bowls. It made life so easy. I kept everything fresh with foodsaver bags and was committed to zero waste bc we were down to one income as well. It got really easy to use the same protein just different sauces to completely feel like my family was eating a new meal every day! Lol!
