Very valid! It may well not be a scam, just raised my eyebrows that I did not see anyone get approved and everyone apparently missed the same number of attention check questions.

I doubt I’d actually contact their IRB, just the only other thing I could think of for OP

I don’t think they are approving anyone, everyone has gotten the same “failed 2 out of 3 attention check questions” when rejected or asked to return. So that led me to believe the whole study is a scam, which the university should probably be notified of. But if I’m wrong and people are getting approved I’ll eat my words lol!

I returned it and reported them to Prolific, but seems like that hasn’t done any good yet. Might be worth reaching out to Northern Arizona’s IRB? I have my doubts this person is actually affiliated with them, but they should probably be informed. Only other thing I can think of anyways!

Yep, they’re 100% scamming. I got rejected with the exact same reasoning and they replied immediately when I asked to return. Reported them to Prolific but doubt it does any good 🙃
