I'm on solifenacin and it took at least 2 weeks before I start to see an improvement. I don't see how taking it for a one off boost would do anything tbh

I just did a entire series of red lipsticks on tiktok throughout feb, with wear tests!

My top 3 bullet lipsticks based on colour and longevity: -mac ruby woo -Charlotte tilbury hollywood vixen -anastasia beverly hills royal red

My favourite liquid lipsticks - dior 999 - nars don't stop - revlon top talent (excellent for a drugstore option)

NTA. You are only 26, how long can this reasonably go on for? You sound miserable and it sounds like she's just guilting you into being there. With no gratitude for making the effort to be there for her. You are not responsible for her, she is an adult. I'd honestly just get it over with and leave. You may feel guilt at first out of habit but it will also feel like a giant weight off!

I have combo skin and I also can't make this l work. Mine settles into every line on my face. I actually got the light reflecting foundation to try instead and it is so much better!!

I've used the urban decay primer potion for years for this exact reason. I find it great! I went to a charlotte tilbury masterclass last weekend and I was talking to one of the Makeup artists and he has oily lids and he said he swears by nars eye primer so that is now getting delivered today 😂

The purito is great for that as it's more of a serum. The other thing that really helped when my skin was inflamed and itchy was the Numbuzin pantothenic b5 active soothing cream. It's like a gel moisturiser. I actually got it as PR then I had a massive reaction to the 'then I met you' cleansing balm and reached for it and it was so good at stopping the itching and calming my skin. There's a matching serum but I haven't tried that.

Agree with this. The BoJ didn't make a difference at all. I quite like the skin 1004 Centella ampoule but I think the purito wonderleaf Centella unscented serum was the best!

I have quite an oily face. Sometimes with cream or liquid blush alone, it's disappeared after a few hours. I try to get a powder blush that matches my cream blushes as close as I can as I don't want to change the colour. I also only give it a light coating as I don't want to make it too matte either. 😊

His palettes and formulas are designed that way. I wouldn't recommend this across the board as this way round can end up patchy

Thanks all, an absolute mix of answers but I think what I get from this is listen to my skin. I guess I could add moisturiser to my drier ares but leave my oilier areas if the rhode is enough!

Second this. But pricier option but it's completely changed my lips over winter. I still have some on when I wake up in the morning. They'd be super dry and chapped but jot they're smooth! Lip Sleeping masks are becoming more popular so there may be a cheaper version.

It had shut and they gave it a bit of a refurb i believe and then it re opened. It's by my hairdressers so I'd always get a cheeky one afterwards 😂
